Corrupt officials, empty campaign promises, nation debt now in the trillions and the majority of Americans still have no doubt President Obama is our savior. But why?
He struts his way through the masses with his head held high, smiling and waving at his loyal constituents. He speaks with a golden tongue, making the crowd quiver as his booming voice lights up everyone’s ear and touches their soul. Yet, all his charisma and charm will be brought to a crashing halt, when only the innocent realize, he is not wearing any clothes.
Democrat and Republican alike gathered for the inauguration of our 44th president. It was more like a Mardi Gras drink fest than welcoming in the new leader of the free world. The crowds stretched further than the naked eye could see, with a record number of civilians and military in attendance. Masses held signs of hope and change. Change is what they were promised, and by god, they got it. Mr. Obama screams for the people. Sounding plea-full at times, that he will stray from the norm of politics and a new era will rise. An era where we the people, take charge. Where we the people decide whats best for our country, whats best for us.
Immediately, president Obama springs into action, presenting a stimulus package to the American people designed to end the economic crises, put Americans back to work and back in homes. The word “stimulus,” sounds great to the American people, because our economy must be stimulated. But, it is not the president that is stimulating our economy, it’s China. To invest we must have something to invest with, that’s were our far east allies come in. Now, the president has money to invest in homes, jobs, banks, schools, health care and so on. Problem solved.
Allow me to present this idea on a small scale so it can be understood in a more personal way. You are in debt to the bank. You owe large sums of money for the purchase of a house that you can no longer afford to make payments on. You know that your income is not going to change because you are retired and your children are soon going to inherit the house when you pass. So, to keep the house you go to the bank, take out a large sum of cash, and continue making the payments with that. When you pass your children will inherit the house with an even larger debt. According to recent polls, over 60% of the American public support this concept.
It doesn’t stop with the stimulus, although, blame should be put solely on the president and not A.I.G for the squandering of stimulus money to corrupt executives. If the stimulus was more well thought out and earmarked correctly, this could have been avoided. It continues with Tim Geithner, a man that did not pay his taxes from 2001 to 2004. President Obama appointed this cheating lowlife as Secretary of Treasury. He seemed to have a soft spot for tax cheats as he also nominated Tom Daschle as Secritary of Health and Human Services. Daschle voluntarily dropped out when his records came to surface.
The list of lies and corruption go on and on. Why is the American public still so supportive of possibly the worst first 100 days in history. Whenever these facts are presented, supporters simply state “give it move time, he’s working on it.” This concept is not understandable or convincing in the least bit. A horrible, spur of the moment trillion dollar debt has already been imposed. Criminals have already been appointed to the white house. Hilary Clinton is secretary of state, when in the Democratic primaries, Obama declared Clinton’s foreign policy to be a joke. Then why appoint her as in charge of foreign affairs?
In no way am I saying that Obama is doing these things on purpose. He is simply a hard talking president with absolutely no experience with such large scale decisions. A lot of people do notice it, and its not just republicans anymore. Our biggest problem is the fact that congressman and senators do notice his lack of clothing, they just don’t have the strong will to tell him what he should wear.

I agree!! Obama chose terrible people for his cabinet, especially after bashing Hillary, he then puts her in office with him? How are we supposed to believe that after the entire campaign they just put their differences aside and get along like good ol’ friends. Its all fake and full of crap. And Geithner, like really? How do you expect people to trust in the government if the government itself does not punish those who cheat the system? Yet they will punish every average citizen they audit and catch cheating the system with jailtime and requiring them to pay everything they owe back plus fines. Now while I agree with the punishment, make it across the board. If average people can go to jail for this, then surely so can musicians, movie stars and government officials. There is no excuse for this at all.
Obama was not ready for this job because of his lack of prior experience. He is a great talker but needs some substance behind his words. The American people buy into all of this too which is the saddest part. Everyone tip toed around him and supported him because he was going to make history as the first African American President to get in, which is great, but thats not the only thing that goes into an election. Prior experience and how the candidate votes while in the Senate also has a lot to do with all of this. Obama does not have much experience, nor does he have steady votes in the Senate.. He flipped on several issues and has done that again while in office. He has gone against several things he promised in the campaign because he got into office and realized what he was really dealing with. Something to keep in mind when the history book start writing about him and future candidates.
Once the stimulus package wears off and settles into the companies, the economy will still be in terrible shape for our generation to pick up and try and fix. Social Security is gone for the Baby Boomer generation and any generation that follows. Now, on top of that we will have to worry about the international debts we owe to other countries like China and India, where many of our services are also outsourced to. Debts + outsoruced resources = big trouble for the American people. We need to fix things internally before all these countries come back to collect their debt and we are once again on our knees and at their mercy.
I am a Canadian, and I don’t understand how Obama attained celebrity status here. When he came to Canada, a huge mob of people camped out on Parliament Hill just to get a glimpse of him. It was like some pop star was in town. I think that the Americans will get change all right. How will you maintain superpower status when your government goes bankrupt?
Great article! Though sadly, I think a large part of America still doesn’t realize the truth; so enamored by his messianic veil they sweep the truth under the rug.
Keep writing. The more voices we have, the more the truth is exposed, then the more invincible will we become. Our fight is not a destructive fight. Ours is a fight for reality, and we need only expose the truth, in order for reality to dictate the rest.
