Rep. Barney Frank Farts.
August 11, 2011: Riots in the streets of London, The world faces economic disaster. America has more wars than it can pay for. People are starving in Africa. With all the world’s challenges, what would be today’s top news story?
That’s right a congressman farting on the news.
On August 8, 2011, Massachusetts’ democratic representative Barney Frank made an appearance on Rachel Maddow’s MSNBC show. While Frank was talking about the economy and jobs, a strange sound was heard as Barney was shifting around. The sound was “taken as a fart” (releasing bodily gas).
The fact is: no one but rep. Frank knows for sure (whether he really passed gas), as all reputable media covering the story are quick to point out. The fact is: 3 days later this story (generally the wrong one) is sweeping the internet. The fact is: a congressman supposedly farting on the news is, at least in America, the top news story in the world today.

The facts rendered from top to bottom.I
I think we don’t really have to be serious about the negative part of life. Concentrate on the positive. Just try to laugh off the problems. It’s healthful.
