The War Against Us

Marijuana has been cultivated for over 5000 years. It has wide medicinal uses and to this day, there is no record of marijuana causing any death because of a chemical overdose. Last night, i was watching Anderson Cooper on CNN and there was a story about marijuana use. Melissa Ethridge was diagnosed with cancer and was prescribed to medical marijuana. She is now 100% free from cancer and is doing fine. Im not saying that the weed totally rid her body of all cancerous cells but what purpose it did serve was to ease her body and her mind as she went through such a traumatic experience in her life.

We can drink all that legal alcohol, become alcoholics, and put that poison in ourselves which takes away from judgement. I have never went insane from smoking marijuana but i have shown some very aggressive characteristics from drinking. It almost feels as if we are not allowed to heal, we are no allowed to be in peace, we are only allowed to kill ourselves or make it so that we are dependant on other things that are government regualted. Smoking marijuana helps to build an appetite if you cannot eat, if you are experiencing nausea, if you cant sleep, hyperactivity and more. Im sure that not everything about it is all that great but if there are so many good properties to it medically why arent we striving for the reform of marijuana laws that way the people who do need it can get it. Legally. How would the population feel if the government took all of the pain killers off the shelves? People wouldnt know what to do. Marijuana is not an addicitive drug. The feeling you get from it is the only thing that will bring you back for more. Also known as the gateway drug, this is something that i want to clear up too. The gateway drug, i think if you have enough self discipline, you wont be worried about doing any other drugs or anything. They always say drink responsibly. So smoke responsibly. keep it safe and i would like to get some feedback on this if you could.
