Thoughts on bringing about peace in the Middle East.
Would it be possible for Israel and Hamas to share power within the Gaza strip or for that matter co-exist within one nation, neither called Palestine nor Israel?
Co-existence based on power sharing like in Northern Ireland perhaps.
Or a one nation state controlled by independent influence something akin to the United Nations peace keeping force for after all it was they who started this whole mess in the first place.
The problem with both ideas of a one state solution is that neither side is wanted by the rest of the Arab/Muslim nations.
By this I mean Israel’s current leadership is frowned upon because of their aggressive stance whilst Hamas are seen as a bunch of ignorant peasants whose only claim to political allegiance of the population was gained by the rhetoric of hate/fear and the physical extermination of opposition members
Hence the lack of moral and physical support for much of the time Israel was bombing Hamas by Egypt, they see Hamas as a threat to stability, before you mention the fact of arms smuggling from Egypt to Gaza think how many lives could have been saved if they had opened their borders to allow refugees fleeing the Jewish bombs!
The fact they were caught like rats in a trap was immaterial to the Arab world as none were prepared to fight for a group such as Hamas who are counter productive within the grand scheme for peace within the Middle East.
It is my personal belief that all sides wish for peaceful co-existence but until some “irritants” are removed, be it publically or under covert operations then useless deaths of innocent people will continue long into this century.
We (the western public) can only look on in horror and spout indignation for those souls lost but remember that We gave power to those in office (except Gordon brown) so must trust to their better judgement as to what response we as a nation shall give.

It was hard for me to understand your basic points, with the run-on sentences, punctuation, and overuse of pronouns. But I like your spirit and desire to make an impact on the world. Keep growing.
