About private industry, poverty, effects of abuse, and our ability to be positive.
It might help Obama supporters feel good to accuse all of us who do not support Obama as bitter losers. I am sure that many see our criticism of Obama as unfounded and bitter. Others may think we are racist.
I have never been found of stupid people. Other then this group of people I do not have great sentiment for another group of people. It is my opinion that many in the Afro-American community have allowed their culture to be turned into one of whiney impotent people, like so many other minorities.
However, every single one of has to account for us. In life we have the option of buying into to the pervasive bad attitude and let this bad attitude be our guide in life. It is our choice.
I know many may disagree in light of so much unethical behavior exhibited by business people. However, why trust and expect so much.
Maybe, I was born with a natural affinity to mistrust. I do not believe claims in commercials. A scam artist has never taken me in. Though, I do believe in saving and investing, I know I have to do my homework.
Explain to me why a person would think they have the right to expect a Utopian society were you could trust everyone. Okay, I know this answer. It has to do with not wanting to do any work them selves.
There are people who are allergic to work. For these people procrastination and avoidance are better practices. I have often asked if people who are moved to help those they consider unfortunate believe they are helping some one who is their equal.
Let us have a serious conversation about the poor. Why are they poor? Many times I have heard news stories on how income is related to education. Studies do show that high majorities of people who are considered poor have little or no education.
Several days ago a business associate told me his 13-year-old son has already gotten a girl pregnant. I know that bad family planning contributes to poverty. People who have children without first saving and succeeding in a business or career struggle a lot.
Personally I think this is a big problem in America. Too many people give in to their urges first and worry about the consequences later. Another problem in America is that too many people think they have the right to expect to have it all.
Of course how a small percentage of the population that just will not get their personal lives in order can hold a country hostage is beyond me. All my life all I have heard about is the poor-poor.
The poor-poor do not have health insurance. The poor-poor cannot afford a house. The poor-poor could not get a college education. The poor-poor cannot afford to feed their children.
Yes it is correct that today we have children homeless and hungry. This fact is unacceptable. However, when are we going to start looking at the contributing factors to these conditions?
I have always worked. I know I will always have to work. There is nothing wrong with work.
This fact is why I know that America is best when private citizens are working. Obama has already discouraged a lot of investment in America. If most jobs dry up, whom will people work for to earn their keep? Everyone cannot work for the federal government.
There needs to be jobs in the private sector. Private sector jobs have always sustained the American economy.
Ask me what I believe in, I will tell you I believe in personal responsibility. No matter what I am always personally responsible for my self. The decisions I make will contribute to the life I live.
George W. Bush did not ruin the economy. Real Estate speculators, who bought houses to flip and defaulted on their loans because their homes were not bought, ruined the economy.
Now these people should of exercised restraint. Four years ago I was listening to a radio host on an investment call in radio talk show about how the real estate bubble was going to burst. If I a person who has no investments in real estate was aware of the threat to the real estate industry, why weren’t those who had a lot to loose not aware of this fact?
Well, I guess recriminations do not matter any more. However, the ins and outs of wheeling and dealing in business have nothing to do with poverty. For objective observers, Bush had an excellent economy and there where still poor people complaining about being poor.
Yes, I understand how abuse can have drastic impact on a person’s life. This impact can result in dropping out of school, maybe getting pregnant early in life, and many other concerning behaviors.
However, I have never heard any one, Obama included, say that there needs to be something done about all the verbal, emotional, physical, sexual, and all other forms of abuse in the nation.
If you were looking for tangible reason for poverty, it would be abuse. Victims of abuse become agitated, depressed, and all their turmoil disrupts their ability to think, which leads to poor choices.
Some people over eat because they are nursing their depression. People drop out of school because they can’t stand being around people, which is the result of being overwhelmed with pain. People get in to romantic relationships that are not in their best interest because they are trying to fill emptiness, i.e. lack of intimacy, which is the result of the parent neglecting the child.
On many occasions I chastise people for being dreamers. It would be nice if a perfect world existed. Unfortunately, this is the world we find ourselves in today.
See, Obama and his kind think that poverty is a condition of being oppressed by corporate America. Parents fail in preparing their children in the manner that will make them capable of managing life. Children need guidance as well as love.
Now, what if things go wrong? Every day more children are being victimized. Tomorrow these children will be trying to mange life with little resources and making a lot of bad choices, which will result in financial struggles.
If you are insulted, spit on, kicked and slapped around, raped, or treated even worse you are not going to feel that great about your self. In order to quell the pain, you will do almost anything. However, hiding, attacking, or abusing your self will not help you.
I am living proof that the pain will pass. In addition, I am living proof those concepts like liking your self, being kind to your self, taking care of your self, putting your emotions in order, and working for your dreams can help you over come most mental illness challenges.
Misguided Obama is making a mess of things trying to cure everyone’s pain. The end result will be more trouble for people. However, again I state we have the choice of being negative and following the bad attitude of others. We also have the opportunity of being positive, believing in our self, and using our critically thinking brain to establish a plan of action.
