War: An End to Nothing

When is enough, enough How many years; and how much money, and how many young American lives does this country have to throw away on a war for people that would rather see us dead than alive. I have a hard time seeing our young American men and women having their life’s thrown away for nothing.

I think it is high time that this country start thinking about its own men and women and save the lives of the people who are brave enough to fight for a cause that matters. The war will never be over because there is no real enemy to face. They are terrorist not a military force, I can see training a police force to help those countries handle the terrorist, but they need to start standing on their on feet and taking responsibility for their own criminals.

What are we even there for anyway? I have not heard about Osama Bin Laden for a very long time now ,so I do not believe that that is the reason. Oil, we have oil here why not sell it here for a reasonable price instead of selling it over seas. What is the real reason we are spending all that money and driving the United States into poverty?

Many would say America is their to promote democracy but this county never had a problem with the former governments of Afghanistan or Iraq until it was no longer convenient for them to back them. We have a history of backing tyrants when it suits the American agenda. Look at the Shaw of Iran one of this countries favorites.

If we have not won by now we probably never will. How about America pulls out of the war we are in and close our borders to anyone from those countries? I know it would not be fair to those that did not do anything and are not in those terrorist groups. I bet the families that lost their family members and loved ones do not feel that what happened to them is fair either. I bet most of them wish it had been done a long time ago.
