We Can Only Save Ourselves

What is the moral message of all the political mess all of us are currently witnessing?  I say it is “we can only save ourselves”.  In Obam’s first two months we are seeing a political arrogance never seen before in American history.

When Obama was elected I wondered if he would be the president of all Americans or only of the 62 million who voted for him.  It is now apparent Mr. Obama only wants to govern to please Pelozi and Company. 

We have seen Obama rescind Bush’s presidential order prohibiting abortion funding in other countries.  Some of the most dangerous people in the world are going to be in American prisons, American courts, and American neighborhoods.  Bush in his 8 years as president only added 2.5 trillion to the national debt.  Obama is his first two months has already gotten close to this amount.

I have said it before national security is tied to the national economy.  Economic power is greater than military power.  However, Obama only wants to spend.  I was watching Obama’s press conference in California and all I heard was how much Obama wants to spend.

This spending like drunken sailors and Pelozi’s attack on Americans by wanting relax attitudes and enforcement on immigration will further destabilize America.  The price of illegal immigration is high.  All the courts, judges, law enforcement, jails, and prisons cost money.  The social cost is greater.  I have written about the lack of moral character of the average Mexican.

I did not express these views because I hate Mexican people.  I was born in Mexico and live in a border city.  Every day I witness the “I’ll get what I want no matter what” from people of Mexico. 

Spending by Obama and congressional democrats is going to put America deep in debt and stifle investment in America.  Obama’s soft voice on foreign affairs is going to result in many evil acts by unethical and immoral leaders.  Social spending will make Americans weak and incapable of providing for themselves.  The social ills like teenage pregnancy; high school dropouts, gangs, and others will further complicate the lives of hard working Americans.

The Bible says there will be a time of a one-world government and a one-world religion.  That is the destination humanity is heading towards.  It is unavoidable. 

Therefore, when pondering what to do with all of these Obama political messes, keep in mind that humanity is going towards a bad future.  Clear thinking and a grasp on reality will help people who do not want to be a victim of life.  I have always said in order to manage life a person has to know which environment they are living in at that time.  

We are at the doorway of Biblical prophecy spoken of in the book of Revelations.  Well we are in the days when the steps will be taken to form a one-world government with a one-world religion.  The forces of evil influence the actions and thoughts of Obama and people like Obama.  They think they are right.  That is only because of their clouded perspectives.

Now, you are a decent person with an honest desire to live a good life.  You want honest love from a partner who will bond to you emotionally and where there will be quality emotional communication.

Every thing you want is possible.  The person who said, “life is what happens while you are making plans”, in my opinion, was a fool.  To get from life what you want you have to know what you want and you have to work to get it. This is planning.

I have always wondered why people are afraid to look at their lives.  Okay, I know it is because they think they have made such a big mess and they do not have the necessary resources to put their lives in order.  This may be true.

Again, the only person we control is us.  We would like cooperation from our romantic partner.  However, just because we have developed a new attitude and want to start working for a better life does not mean our husband or wife is going to fall in line and start marching right along side us. 

It is sad.  Why would someone who says they love us not want to help us reach our personal dreams?  The answer is immaturity. We were suppose to develop and grow to the extent we could adequately meet the challenges of life. 

 Life interfered in the maturity of many people.  You may have some of these people in your life.  You save.  They spend.  You put things in order.  They throw stuff all over the place. You want emotional communication.  They withdraw and shut off. 

The question you want to ask your self is “how much am I willing to tolerate”.  There have to be lines drawn in the sand.  No sense being with some one who will not grow up and invest in your collective future.

This does not mean that all life organization starts with putting in order our personal relationships.  Sometimes we have to put ourselves in order.  Our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors matter.

How can we pursue life is we do not know our wants, needs, and desires?

Wants are stuff we personally would like to have like a Toshiba laptop.  Needs are stuff necessary for life like food, water, and love.  Do I really have to explain desires?  Okay, desires are cravings of the body and mind.  We need to eat.  We do not necessarily need to eat a pizza. 

It is also essential to put our financial house in order.  We need to stop spending.  We need to stop using credit cards and taking on loans.  If necessary, we need to work and earn more.

If we really want a college degree, we have to prepare to be a good student.  We need find time for classes, research, and studying.   The university of today requires a lot of writing.   Personally, I like online and distance learning.  There many accredit programs from private and state universities on the Internet.  My favorite is Liberty University.

Yes it is a Christian University.  You do not have to be a Christian to participate in their programs.  However, some religious courses are required for all their programs.

Parents, you need to be parents.  Emotional black mail from children should not make a parent who folds.  When I worked with children I found being a pleasant, enjoyable person, with a weird sense of humor helped a lot.

The job of a parent is to educate the child about the stuff of life while they build the child up spiritually.  This can be done with games, conversation, and reinforcing good behaviors with hugs, kisses, smiles, laughter, words of praise, words of encouragement, words of inspiration, and anything else that will make the learning experience enjoyable.  Ranting and raving like a lunatic to a two year old who does not have 60% of your vocabulary is a waste of time.

What about when things go wrong?  It is your job to make that child feel safe.  You have to be that child’s rock with emotional strength.  Plus, you have to speak with the voice of reality.  Lying to a child is never productive. Of course, you must learn age appropriate lessons.  No need to treat a two year old like a teenager or vice a versa.

Political activism is also necessary.  Look at where we are because we refused to get involved. In addition, keep in mind that the central message of this article is that we can only save ourselves.  However, with a real perspective we can understand the people around us and what our contribution to our corner of the world can be in life.

The top of my mountain is one where positive attitude contributes to good health.  I know now not to take on to much debt.  I know personal relationships matter.  Life is not about careers and/or education.  As long as we are productive we have reason to enjoy our lives and like our selves. There is nothing in life we cannot deal with as long as we are willing to think and do the hard work. 

To all of you who say I have been working hard, my response to you is maybe you have been working hard on the wrong project.  The messages of the modern world are wrong.  Everything that had value before will always have value.
