I find it so ironic when people continue to parrot the lie that we will never forget September 11th. The truth is, we already have. We already have forgotten the horrofic events that occured on Septemeber 11th, 2001. To be fair to those who had no TV, radio, or newspapers at the time, terrorists hijacked two planes and flew each of them into a different tower of the world trade center. Thousands of innocents were killed in the process, just as the Jihadists had hoped for.

Anti-Islam vs. Political Correctness

Don’t get me wrong, I am not anti-Muslim, and I do not bear any ill-will towards Islam just because some zealots in the Middle-east brought a bad name onto all Muslims.  Most Muslims will acknowledge that those people in the cockpit were indeed overly-zealous.  But I do not support these apologists who say that we should pull from Iraq and stop refering to these creatures that proudly call themselves “Islamic Jihadists” as such.  These people refuse to use a term that the Jihadists themselves use on the ground that it may be offensive.

Should we pull from Iraq?

We have people, such as Michael Moore, Cindy Sheehan, Rosie O’Donnell, etc. saying that we should pull from Iraq and Afghanistan in order to avoid provoking another terrorist attack.  Using simple logic, I conclude that our mere presence in the middle-east is enough to provoke an attack; and this is not without evidence.  What if I told you that since the war’s beginning, our soldiers over in Afghanistan foiled nineteen plots by the Islamic Jihadists to destroy the United States?  You must also remember that the attacks on September 11th were unprovoked, so I highly doubt that they’d need much provocation to attempt it again, especially when you consider that Hamas’ unprovoked attacks on Israel cost them more men than they kill, yet they keep trying the same tactics hoping to eventually destroy Israel, maybe with one or two men left.  When history is forgotten, it repeats itself.

Troop Bashers

Of all the people who lack respect for the United States troops, the one I hold in highest contempt is Michael Moore.  Michael Moore is the ignoramus who made the film “redacted”, which depicts soldiers as rapists.  Yes, there are bad soldiers.  But I garuntee you that there are no more bad soldiers than there are bad doctors, teachers, lawyers, etc.  In fact, I’ll bet that there are no more criminals in our army than there are in Hollywood, California.  Well Mr. Moore, let’s see you get your fat ass over to Iraq or Afghanistan.  Let’s see you go over into the 140° heat to see the blood and hear the screams of the wounded.  Let’s see you go over there to see your friend get blown away, then see if you have the audacity to publish this ignorant slander.

What About the Middle-east?

What if I told you that the Army Corps of Engineers has done more to advance the Middle-east than anything else?  What if I told you that for the first time in history, some villages have running water, electricity, and access the internet?  What if I told you that traders can now sell their goods on the internet and increase the revenue for the entire community?

What I find most depressing is that the only people who have say in the matter are politicians; particulary left-wing.  Nancy Pelosi, in her infinite wisdom decided to go over to Iraq to see if conditions were really that bad.  Well, here’s the fact: that was a joke.  She didn’t see how conditions really are; she stayed in the Senator’s mansion, with air-conditioning, food, and entertainment.

Let’s see her go into a normal place with that lipstick and see how well she can dodge bullets.  Let’s see how fast she can run in those high-heels.  The fact is that the Iraqi and Afghan citizens have no say in the matter.  The reason for that is that left-wing politicians can’t afford to have the people affected positively by this to have any voice.  Their all-knowing veiws cannot be opposed by anyone, regardless of the fact that a large part of the opposition is living in poverty, and just want better lives.  It’s a pity, isn’t it?  Now wether or not you have the First Amendment right depends on your political veiws.

So next time, before you go slanderizing our soldiers, remember that they’re fighting and dying to protect your right to slanderize them.  Before you go saying that we should pull from Iraq, remember your history, and remember what life is like over there; for soldiers and citizens alike.  But also remember, that before you go Muslim-bashing, remember that less than 10% of is radicalized.
