What? A Robot Girlfriend?

How strange to read in the news that a Canadian Man from Brampton, Ontario has built himself a robot as a girlfriend.

Only days ago my husband and I were talking about this and I stated how humorous on the surface this really was. Deep down though it is quite a sad invention and step towards
accepting fake over real. We had no idea someone was actually working towards this invention.

If finding the perfect mate has become that difficult why not just remain alone?

In the brief news article about this we are told this robotic girlfriend can recognize faces, medication, speak 2 languages and read. The Canadian man has created the perfect woman. She needs no vacations, food or rest and will work almost 24 hours a day. She is the first android to mimic pain, and react to it. Wow that is just far too spooky to me and wrong!

The kicker is this she knows how to butter toast. I am well aware of many single men out there who only know how to make toast. My grandfather was one of those men. I would bring him great dinners to heat in the microwave and he would eat toast instead.

Why not eat something healthier than toast? Does a man really believe it would be better to have a robot woman who could butter their toast for them?

Has it really gotten that bad?

The most disturbing part of this whole entire news is the creator states “The robot is the perfect woman”.

Ok here’s the truth, yet still you could say my opinion. That is a Slave! Do men want slaves?
