What is Justice in America?

America once stood for Justice under excellent morals handed down from one generation to another. The scriptures of the Holy Bible when NOT taken out of context preach peace and prosperity to all. God is no respecter of color, race or gender as long as we all understand we are living under the New Testament of the Holy Bible. All men which means mankind and therefore includes women and children as well should be treated equally. So why do we have this injustice in America?

The answer is simple even if no one wants to admit it, its called greed. Greed has gotten so bad in our country even the Judicial System has become greedy; those that once stood for justice, our judges and attorneys, now stands for greed instead. The media that once told the true stories has been hyping their stories to be “bigger than life” for greed and the worse part about the media doing it is that it causes fear, hate and misunderstandings through out the country. Making mountains out of a small incline makes people nervous, suspicious, fearful and angry. The media is one sided and has been for as far back as it had been in business. But the media is sanctioned by the rich as well as the government.

Let anyone say something derogatory about the media and they automatically categorically deny it. The truth is, the media starts the problems with their one sidedness, slanders, disproportionate reporting then kick back and reap the rewards from others sufferings. It’s not just the television media but all news media. Many reporters assume things and report it as such hurting a great many people and their families. I’ll give you a perfect example!

A true story but I won’t use names or dates; a friend of mine and her son came to church one Sunday and we enjoyed each others company during our Pot Luck luncheon. We laughed and talked about future pot lucks but neither of us knew what was going to happen that afternoon. On their way home from church, her son drove the truck, he swerved to keep from hitting a big dog crossing their road. He lost control when he hit the dirt and the truck careened into the Aqueduct. Someone must have seen the accident because it didn’t take long for the Fire Department and Sheriffs Department to show up. Her son made it out alive she drowned. He was arrested for the murder of his mother. The irresponsible news paper reporter for the area said he murdered his mother for her insurance. They had no insurance! They were poor just like me and I still have no insurance. Some time later after the truth was finally known he was released from jail but the stigma of him being a murderer stuck. He’d lost his job, couldn’t get another job because no one would hire a potential murderer. His mother was all he had and even though he had friends none of us could take the place of the mother he loved so much and was accused of killing. He finally moved away from the area.

The hyped up story sold alright! It totally destroyed a man’s reputation in his own town. I hope that reporter got his or her moneys worth off of the death, destruction and the broken heart that resulted from all of it and the many other hyped up stories that hurt countless others before and after. When these media people say they don’t do anything but report the news and it doesn’t hurt anyone they are not truthful.

The American people have begun to rely upon the media way too heavily for telling them what’s going on in our world but most of them hype the stories to sell not to be truthful. If you want a truthful stereotyping of people I’ll give you one from my own experiences both in person and what I’ve seen and heard from the media’s own works.

I come from what they call low middle class white’s, it’s a polite way of saying poor white people. Many of the middle class whites try to act like and be accepted by the rich or high class whites calling people of the low class white trash because they can’t afford brand name clothes, shoes and get their hair and nails done in a salon or beauty parlor. Many of these people have children that bend and break the laws, sells the drugs, cheat on their women, and make fun of people less fortunate than them. Many of these are also the ones who cheat on tests in school, pressures others to do things that are wrong or immoral by taunts and out right threats, then laughs when the other gets into trouble for doing it while they walk away free of any incriminations. Most of these have very well to do if not rich connections to make them appear to be little angels. “Oh they’re just kids having some fun is all;” Then the talk of a generous donation that keeps their “kid” out of the news while the poor child who was goaded and threatened gets the full brunt of the one sided law thrown at them and their family is stigmatized. The children of the upper middle class learned a long time ago that money talks and gets them out of any trouble they get into so the more they have the more they want.

My first marriage was into an upper middle class family. My father in law was nice and kind but my mother in law kept many secrets from everyone. She hated me with every fiber of her being and every chance she got alone with me she didn’t hesitate to let me know it. Even though she was barren and could have no children of her own, they adopted their two sons, which I would later find were as different as day and night, I was not permitted to participate in any family gatherings or reunions. She didn’t want her son to be looked down upon by her very wealthy family because he married a commoner like me. My ex-husband never spoke up for my honor.

For all of my low class and all of my own inner-family problems I stole once and felt so bad about it I never did it again, and no I didn’t get caught. One of my ex-husband’s rich uncle’s children stole many times, many things and lots of money and spent lots of time in and out of jail, his other child shot and killed himself. Other rich family members got rich from the sweat off of the backs of illegal immigrants that are paid well below minimum wage. My mother in law was a wine-o and died of liver failure after making her family believe she’d given up drinking .I was not permitted at her bed side to say good by. As it turned out my first ex was a thief, lire, a con man, a child molester, a drunk and a gambler. A real nice upper middle class family wouldn’t you agree?

My second ex-husband actually came from a middle class working family but his mother having been an alcoholic and a drug addict when my ex was a baby and now with peculiar addictive behaviors, (“It was better than having him do them behind my back,” Was her excuse.). His step-dad, a profoundly dirty old man who thought nothing of relieving his sexual needs in a room with sleeping children, (Which I put a stop to immediately!) and boasting (graphically) about the many times he’d barely escaped some married woman’s bedroom as her husband entered, severely secretively prejudiced against anyone not considered white, cheated on his wife every chance he got including with her own best friend, and beat his step-son for his wife not doing her own housework, (Which she did in fact know about and did nothing to stop or change it.). How these two so called adults were even able to keep jobs were beyond my comprehension. It was no wonder that he became lire, a flirt and a cheater as well as the fact he went back to using drugs. Their other child, a girl I know very little about other than she thinks she’s better than me. The one time she paid us a visit she wouldn’t come out of her room until time to leave. She had to be served her food in her room and her brother and mother catered to her every wish. I can at least say that his aunt and uncle were not only nice people but real people. They treated me like I was a genuine person with worth and treated everyone that way as far as I could tell.

You will never hear these truths or others even worse told in the news! Let something happen involving a Black person or Hispanic or some other ethnic group and the media is all over it and blowing it all out of proportion to sell the news. The really sad truth part of that statement is that it all depends on the currant fad as to how things will be taken out of context and blown out of proportion. There is NO accountability anymore for the things people do or say as long as they have money which gives them status in this world.

As for those who say it’s not true and because I don’t work for a news organization I couldn’t possibly know, well you’re wrong. I could have had a job working for a magazine when I was in my twenties but when the editor who interviewed me told me I’d have to find all the dirt on these people I could and make it larger than life I refused the job. I went to work for a radio station in hopes of someday becoming a radio personality but when they told me all businesses have tons of money for advertising ads I walked out because I know how tight money actually is and for any of these people to treat others so carelessly and indifferently tells me that’s not the place I want to be. I have seen no changes in any of it since for the better. News is news whether in a magazine or on TV it is still news and all of you are in competition with one another to get the highest ratings and or most sales and most of you don’t care how you get it as long as you do. That also means you people don’t care how much hatred and or fear you generate over your stories so long as you get the best ratings or sell the most.

So long as we have this kind of competition in America there will never be any justice in America, not for the Blacks, Hispanics, Whites or anyone else. This goes for organizations as well who gives these reports to the media. There are some very irresponsible people working for government agencies and government subsidized agencies who report things to the media as though it were an epidemic of the utmost importance when in reality it is a matter of false representations, lack of adult education as in the case of Child Protective Services regarding adult male behavior around children that still no one is willing to acknowledge or correct.

I would still like to know how it is that foster parents receive two and tree times more money per child than a parent on welfare receives. Even parents with sick children on welfare don’t receive the type of money these foster parents get, that should never have been aloud and so long as we have that kind of injustice and disproportionate behavior within our government nothing will ever change. Not to mention the amounts of money tax payers are paying for these foster homes so they can have brand new cars (often times more than one) that even real parents can’t afford to buy, and foster parents buy new homes that most real parents can only afford to rent. And don’t lie about it! I had friends that one to this day is still foster parents. They buy hundreds of dollars in steaks, ribs, pork, beef, whole hams, whole turkeys, ice creams of all kinds. My God they had two refrigerators and a chest freezer filled with foods not to mention their pantry was so over stuffed they had to put canned foods in a shelving unit in another room. They ate like flipping kings! I don’t see any parent on welfare having that kind of money. That family had three registered and running cars and two motor homes at the time, not including their son’s car. Plus they owned their own home, a large piece of five acre land with two houses on it. Wow I should have become a Foster Mom.

Sure children want to live in foster care, if you could live like a king wouldn’t you? No real life strife, no real life money problems unless you really mishandle all that income eight hundred to well over a thousand dollars per month per child, (plus: food stamps, gas mileage rebates, gift certificates for clothing at name brand stores) you get , Name brand clothes and shoes most poor people can’t afford for their children, brand new cars to ride around in or like my friend use to have an older model limacine to drive her children around in, all the sweets and foods imaginable so you never have the worry of reality of having to work for it. Wow what a racket! Now there is one great paying job and all you’ve got to do is be what you already are, a parent.

You wouldn’t have to worry about most of the children being bad or even sickly because most of the children in foster homes today are from faith based families, not addicted children or children from alcoholic or drug addicted households. They get their children back to be further terrorized, demeaned, beaten, etc. The children in foster homes today are already taught to behave and to mind their elders, do what they are told, and already instructed to get good educations.

Another good example of the unjust justice in America today is the horrible and unjust conviction of two Border Patrol Officers Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean who are in jail if not prison right now and have been for seven months for doing their jobs. An illegal alien crossing the border known by the two men to be a drug runner shot and injured the perpetrator, the felon was supposedly unarmed when shot so the District Attorney filed a criminal suit on behalf of the known felon against the Boarder Patrol. The actual truth of the felon’s doings were criminally withheld from the jury as has been the criminal habits of the Attorneys everywhere of late, so that the jury presiding over the case had no factual bases on behalf of the officers doing their jobs.

The real Felony Criminal by the way continued carrying drugs across the border the moment he was released from the hospital and during the trial of the real innocent men doing their jobs until he was once again apprehended, yet this fact had no barring on the case. Our Mexican American boarders have become a miniature war zone and most drug runners do carry guns and don’t hesitate to kill our people why do we then have to put people in prison for merely doing their jobs?

This is not a case of police brutality people! This is our boarders being overrun by illegal aliens bringing illegal drugs into our country to sell on the streets to all our children everywhere! Come on people if you can’t get up and do anything else get up and rally on your children’s behalf. We need to get these drugs off of the street, away from our children, and put a stop to this misuse of the laws!

Bombard your Congressmen with letters telling them to let these men go and secure our borders! Do it daily! The only way we the people are going to be herd is to continuously send our Congressmen letters and E-Mails. Send copies to your local representatives and to the President as well. Let your demands be known!

Senator Obama is absolutely right “IT IS A TIME FOR CHANGE!” It is time we the people of the United States of America stand up for our rights as the people of America! It is time we the people of America be herd as one people, Americans. It is time we all have equal representation within our government. It is time for us all to come to agreements as Americans of one Nation and prove ourselves as the caring and loving people we are. We must have UNITY!

We need all of the party leaders to come together “In order to form a more perfect Union, Provide for the COMMON Defense and to Promote the general Welfare” of American people. Before we can help the world we must first get our country together. We must be prosperous, self sufficient and strong in our convictions as one country.

STOP thinking in terms of color, race, religion or gender! We are Americans. When we can all accomplish that then we can live in harmony with one another and accomplish more than imaginable. As one people undivided we will be unstoppable because we will be working together as a people.

Martin L. King Jr. had it right! Our For-fathers had it right; they all saw this same dream! Wake UP people of America! The time is NOW. Let’s bring real Justice to America. Together we stand strong, divided we will fail.
