What the People Hope for President Obama

Many people have been let down by promises of some of the past  presidents and are hoping  for an honorable four years for President Obama. It looks as though he is quite a dreamer, making some 500 hundred promises to the American people. But only a few weeks in the white house and he has kept six of his promises according to politifact:

1. Direct military leaders to end war in Iraq.

2. Release presidential records

3. Require new hires to sign a form affirming their hiring was not due to political affiliation or contributions.

4. Work to overturn Ledbetter vs. Goodyear

5. Ban lobbyist gifts to executive employees.

6. Appoint at least one Republican to the cabinet

Even though past presidents had great achievements in the white house, the majority of Americans believe that president Obama will indeed change our country for the better and do better than many before him, his promises are what got him where he is today and many are hoping he is able to make them realities and that  his term ends well without having disgraced himself.

Luckily for all, it seems that Obama will make many positive changes and the people’s happiness will not be diminished . He seems to be  fully aware of the great  responsibility that has been given to him and  will do everything in his power to help the people and win their hearts. Will he succeed? will we all be able to heave a sigh of relief? we are waiting… hoping… praying.
