What’s Your Plan Mr. Obama?

This is going to be the first of what I hope will become a weekly overview of our world. I don’t mean talking about the who’s who of Hollywood or sports, or anything else of that sort. When I say our world I truly mean our world. I am an American…a true American I might add. I will not sit here and tell you to trust me and have faith in my words while giving you no insight into what I am actually after. I am…as most of you are…a normal American citizen who just wants the truth. I don’t want false accusations against one side or the other in order to distract me from what is actually going on. I just want the truth. I just want everyone in this country, this world to know what the truth is. So lets get started shall we?

It’s Sept 28th, 2009. Today Iran has again tested long range missles, Healthcare is still an ongoing issue, and daily we hear more about a private government backed corporations that have been stealing our money secretly over the past few years. We have a President who tells us daily to just trust him and his path for this country when he gives us no reason to. He appoints these czars who has less than positive backgrounds to be nice. People who answer too no one. Not you or me, not the senate or the house of reps, no one. Hell I honestly question if they even have to answer to our president. People who have in no way shape or form been chosen by the voting public. But yet they are in charge of so many aspects of our lives and government. How did all these people get all this power without running for any office? Good question…I wish I knew, I wish I could tell you. But much like everything else the government has been doing over the past 60 years we know nothing and they think that’s the way it should be.

Trust me…but I wont tell you the details on what I want you to trust me on. What kind of backwards ass dictatorship type thinking is this? Force us to live in fear of things you wont warn us about even if it is a legitimate threat. Honestly, who is leading this country. You want me to fear something, or fear someone…tell me why. Don’t tell me to trust you when you give the public absolutely no reason to trust anything any of you say or do. Trust Mr. Obama’s plan for our country. Mr. Obama…what is you plan for this country?

I am a 27 year old white male living on the east coast. I am not a drug addict or an alcoholic. I don’t pop pill and I don’t have any mental instabilities. And yet the more I try to find work the harder it seems to become. Our president told us to not worry, have faith, and things will look up. But what is looking up? Every day there is a new threat, a new accusation against republicans or democrats from the other. They tell us to trust them but they don’t even trust each other. If they can’t get on the same page how are we supposed to get on the same page and go along with their plans? Healthcare is something no one will ever agree on…except the point that we need it. We need a universal healthcare plan but it will never happen in a legitimate or timely manner. Our government allows too many big corporations to pull them in one direction or the other. Is it a surprise that they haven’t figured it out yet? Not to me. Why would the big insurance companies that lobby for our politicians want a new healthcare plan? That would take big dollars out of their pocket and put it back into ours. Just another reason why this plan will never pass in a fashion that will actually help the people of this country. If it does pass…it will pass in a way that will, hidden behind the small print, basically screw over the middle and lower class in this country.

What is your plan for this country Mr. President? Is it to force our kids to learn what you what them to learn? Is it to lie to the American public day in and day out hoping the truth will never be revealed? This country was built on hard working honest people who were tired of being lied to and told what to believe and what to say. We want a fair shake, we want the truth, we want our country back. The times of this country being a world power are coming to an end. And it isn’t from the lack of spirit of the American people. It is because our government has stolen our ideals from us and forced the rest of the world to look at us as invaders. Go to Europe, go to Asia, go anywhere outside this country and ask the people of the world what they think of this country and it is a huge contrast of what they thought a mere fifty years ago. It’s not because of the people in this country. It is because of the people who represent us as a country.

Like a lot of you I am sick and tired of seeing the truth, knowing the truth, and still being told that the truth is just a façade created by the left or the right to confuse us. We are not that naive people…or are we? The fact that the majority of this country has lost faith in our current government should be enough to pull the wool up off our eyes. That should be enough to show the people in charge in this country that we will not stand back and let them force their changes upon us. We are not a primitive people. We don’t want wars or poverty. We want to live in peace, we want to be happy. We don’t want to have to worry about the government making enemies countries and people all over the world. They’ve already lets their lies put the people of this country in harms way. They have already made us out to be an enemy of the state when in reality we are the only ones who want to protect our freedoms as a nation. The government wants us to put our needs as a country aside and go along with their plan.

Again I ask our government, I ask you, what is the plan they want us to go along with? Is it to tell us that they can come into our homes arrest us for no reason whatsoever and hold us as prisoners of war for the rest of our lives for absolutely no reason except the fact we disagreed with what they force fed us? Is it to let the government bail out the big companies that have ripped off the public time and time again? Is it to let the money that we pay in for taxes to be used to bail out the companies that have put us in this situation to begin with? Is it to make us believe that their war is just war? What is their plan for us as a country? I don’t know what they want us to believe or what they want us to think. All I know is I am a free thinking American, who has my own ideals, my own thoughts, and will express them every chance I get. Go to a tea party, go to a town hall meeting, see for yourself that we are not the crazy over reacting people the news claims we are. In the majority of the places you go people are calm and are willing to talk about any of this in a reasonable way. But if you listen to what they tell you, we aren’t capable of doing any of this. Yet day in and day out the people of this country stand up in a peaceful and respectful way to speak their minds which is a freedom our fore fathers fought for us to have. Yet I dare you to go to D.C. and ask some serious questions and see their response. If they don’t walk away from you instantly they will try and talk their way around the question and answer you in a way that is more confusing than trigonometry.

This is our country, your country, my country. I wasn’t in the army to defend the opinions of politicians. I was in the Army to defend the freedoms of the people of this country. A big reason why I am now a vet and not in active duty. I got out, a lot of our military personnel get out as soon as they can. It’s not because of fear of being in this war. It is because they joined to protect this country, not to force this countries beliefs onto other countries. Granted we needed to go to the middle east, we needed to try and make some sort of peace happen over there. But it is a lost cause. There has been wars and fighting going on in the middle east since the beginning of man kind. What makes us think we are any different than any other civilization that tried to bring peace to the area? We need to worry about ourselves as a country. Take care of the people at home before we worry about taking care of people overseas. Don’t get me wrong, I love this country and I believe in and support our troops whole heartedly. I just think they are fighting an un-winable fight. We will never win and yet they want us to believe we will. Sound similar…it should. It’s just like Vietnam. Fighting a group of people that hide out under ground and attack innocent people day in and day out. If we leave they tell us the innocent people will all die and this will all be for not. But what happens in two years when we leave there with nothing being changed? We will still have lost the war and we will have wasted billions of more dollars fighting a war that the majority of this country and the world is not behind.

I know I got a bit off topic but it happens when you are passionate about this country. When you sit here every day being told this is right and this is wrong and they know best. Knowing in your heart what is right and what is wrong. Knowing that what they are doing, what they tell us, is all wrong. I want to be free. I want my kids to be free when they get to be my age. I don’t want big business and big government to take over and I hope you all feel the same way. Stand up for YOUR rights, stand up for what YOU believe in, stand up as a citizen of the United States of America and remind the world why we have become the greatest country on earth. Don’t let the people who represent you falsely represent us to the rest of the world. God bless, and long live freedom.
