Why All the Hype About Michael Jackson’s Death?

Michael Jackson was a highly influential character in the music business. Although he is most remembered as the crazy guy who turned from black to white, originally he was much more. His album Thriller is still the best selling album of all time.

In 1968 he started his career in the Jackson 5. They were a great group and released many great songs, before Michael decided to start a solo career in 1971. He was called the king of pop and released great albums such as Bad, Off The Wall, Dangerous, and History. He topped the charts many many times. One of the other things he is credited with is turning the music video into an art form.

His work contributing to charities is great and will never be forgotten. One of his main charities was Heal The World. Another great achievment is that he was inducted in the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame twice. Jackson married twice and is survived by 3 children.

On June 25, 2009 he collapsed at his rented mansion in Los Angeles. His personal doctor tried to help him, but it was already too late. He died of cardiac arrest, but his fame is only growing after his death.
