This ‘08 election is an exciting one. The candidates are all well known and are all qualified for the position of president. But since we are in such a unique position we need a candidate of change. That candidate is Barack Obama.

There is no doubt that Obama’s views and enthusiasm are inspiring a large part of the nation to help him bring change to the White House. I, like these people, believe he will bring new kind of politics to our government. His opponents, in the end, are nothing new and will not change this nation enough. Both of his opponents argue that, because of his lack of experience, Obama will not know how to lead. Although this attack may seem substantial, it does not stand up to his ability to inspire the nation.

The main attack against Barack Obama is that he does not have experience to lead us through the nation’s problems. This may seem like a good argument. His young age is obvious and he has only been in the Senate for a few years. But he does have experience, and more than you may think. He has fought for civil rights in court and helped communities on the streets of Chicago. His experience fighting for the people in communities and fighting for them in Washington shows that he does adequate experience. Not only does he have enough experience, he also has a clean political record.

Although Hillary Clinton and John McCain are great politicians and have lots of experience, they do not have what the country needs. Both are connected to lobbyists and do not have the skills to inspire this nation. The issues of our time are very big and can (are) cause major problems. The solutions require the backing of a strong government and an inspired people, both of which Obama can provide.

Our current political system is broken and takes away power from the people. The Obama system of governing empowers the average American person and gives them the ability to have a bigger effect on the government. Barack Obama has a revolutionary movement behind him, one that is powered by the people and not by corporate interests. If you are weary of the current system of governing, Obama can and will deliver you a new, refreshing system.

America is in a very unique position right now. The people are tired of the current system of governing and politicians aren’t doing enough to solve the many problems facing the nation. Barack Obama is more than a politician. He will not only inspire the country but will allow both Republicans and Democrats to work together towards a common goal. America has a huge opportunity to put an end to the old style of politics: The style of politics that doesn’t show results and only divides the American people instead of strengthening them. Barack Obama is inspiring the nation to change this government. He is the ideal nominee for the Democrats and will be a great president for the nation.
