Did Joe Wilson detect a lie, or was he out of line?

The meeting between the President and Congress on September 9, 2009, erupted when Joe Wilson-R SC, informed Obama he was lying.  Perhaps Congressman Wilson could have been more tactful, or met with the President after the meeting and told him face to face.  However, the President made it perfectly clear that his door was open to those who are in favor to his bill.  Senator Wilson, perhaps caught up in his own emotions, bellowed out how he truly felt at that moment.

Taxpayerssubsidize health care for illegal’s, mostly for childbirth.  The illegal’s use hospital emergency rooms as clinics, because, as illegal’s they fear interacting with the medical system.  However, Medicaid reimburses hospitals for treatment received in the emergency rooms across the nation by illegal immigrants.  The President raves on about the deficit the US harbors, yet will be willing to turn his head to criminals crossing the borders, allowing Medicaid to pick up the tab for their medical treatments, which enviably cost the taxpayers more money.  Medicaid is a large part of our deficit, and it seems there is not a solution to the ongoing problem, if we listen to the President.  There is a solution that would in the end weaken the deficit and strengthen the purse of taxpayers.  The solution is; to enforce the border security, use SAVE to eliminate those in our country who are illegal and stop catering to them and their offspring at the expense of the American people.

Will the government run health care bill cover the illegal immigrants?  You bet your sweet zippy it will.  What purpose will the plan prove if the illegals are still entering our country, bringing their diseases with them, and cannot be treated for those diseases because they lack in funds or insurance coverage?  The outcome will be a diseased nation.  This health care bill will not benefit some things, and defeats it’s purpose.

Obama spokeharshly against those in Congress, who by way of Conservative radio and television spread the word about the “death panels” contained in the HR 3200 bill.  Obama called the information “false rumors”, saying there was no such article in the bill.  How many times did he say, “No we’re not going to pull the plug on grandma?”  However, a few weeks ago he said the death panels were removed from the bill. To many who believe his every word, that statement falls under the heading of, “I made a mistake.”  As we heard so many times during, his campaign, “it was a mistake,” and even while in office.  On the other hand, did he blatantly lie to the American people, so he can get the credit for passing a thirty-year-old bill?

Our insurance happens to be the best in the world.  It works fine for those of us who prefer necessities to luxuries and pay our premiums.  Of course, there are a few tweaks needed in the system, but the tweak needed does not rectify reforming to a government run health care system.  The people in our country, who are uninsured, choose not to purchase it, or they have waited to late in life to get a good coverage, or allowed the illness they suffer to linger too long to be insurable.

Did Congressman Joe Wilson have the right to bring attention to the falsehoods Obama spoke during that meeting?  Has Obama not ever lied in the past?  Notice the remark made by Mr. Obama about the death panels.
