Foreign Workers in The Kingdom Stop Worrying: Learn The Lessons From Saudization

When Saudization blasted many of us OFWs (Overseas Filipino Workers) and other foreign workers in the Kingdom immediately have started worrying. Some of us have wrongfully interpreted it as a threat. Those were normal feelings and reactions that each and everyone has exhibited. However, we should stop harrowing instead; let us learn the lessons and the good tidings of Saudization.
We should accept that Job is only temporary. In the Kingdom, the retirement age will start at 55 years old. If you reached this retirement age and your company decided to send you home – you cannot stop it. If you met and accident or got sick and has stopped you from working - it could be a valid reason that your company will send you home.
Saudization teaches us many things. From this program, I learned that unemployment rate of Saudis in the Kingdom is high especially for the young graduates. Every year the country has produced ten of thousands newly graduates. Some of them are already working on Saudi government offices around the Kingdom. Although still, the government could not accommodate all of these young energetic newly graduates.
I see that the unemployment situation in the Kingdom has pushed these young energetic Saudis to unite and started calling for a peaceful rally, protest and demonstration – asking the government to address the dilemma of being unemployed. I assumed that this is the main reason why Saudization is introduced and prioritized in the Kingdom nowadays and we have to appreciate it.
Assuming that some of us will leave the Kingdom as it is necessary, to give way for the objectives of Saudization program of the Kingdom, we have to accept it wholeheartedly, positively and peacefully. And we should not forget that the world is big and round. Many countries in this wide-world are open and also accepting job seekers to work for them.
And for those who are already tired from working abroad, there are many opportunities to enjoy. If you will have the interest to develop your talents and skills by attending free trainings and seminars, certainly you can start small businesses at your home countries. I remember when America experienced its financial crisis some years ago; the direct sales and MLM business helped thousands of American households to overcome the crisis!

i pity those who would lose their jobs, this is a wake up call to our government as well to stop building our country on the concept of exporting manpower.It would be better if they would come up with plans to have more jobs for our graduates that would pay adequately
