Libyan rebels reached the Libyan capital Tripoli and took control of about 80% of the capital city by fighting the army of Muammar Gaddafi. More than 500 fighters died and about 3,500 injured in onesingle day. Libyan rebels are sending more fighters and weaponry to Tripoli by sea from their coastal enclave of Misurata, about 125 miles to the east. Several ships arrived in capital Tripoli from Misurata, with a large number of fighters and ammunition on board.
