Why United States Wants to Scrap Missile Defense Shield Plans

The administration of US president Mr. Obama will scrap the controversial missile defense shield program in Eastern Europe is the hot news spreading everywhere now.

This news though give happiness to some countries like Russia; countries like Poland and Czech Republic are more concerned, where the key elements of the missile system were supposed to be located.

Though America says the reason behind this as “We don’t consider Iran as a threat and hence not require this missile system to be placed in European locations”, the controversial news says that Obama administration is trying to please Russia. Poland and Czech decided to seek other sorts of security helps from NATO.

Whatever the news is, I’m least bothered. When the world is suffering with various problems like Shortage of food, Unemployment, Hike in the prices of all essential things, leading to the death of poor people, suicide of farmers, I’m not concerned about this news.

I really would appreciate if Mr. Obama avoids the mistakes committed by his predecessor Mr. George Bush, who spent millions of dollars in war, which he could have invested in better things to save his OWN people.

For those who want to ask me, “What you know about the security of a country?”, yes I do agree that I have less knowledge. But one thing I know for sure is “Security” has no value, if the people inside the country kill themselves and their families, because they couldn’t survive the above said problems. Save your people first.
