I don’t know much about politics and the different world issues that need to be addressed, but I have some advice on how to be great leader.
Do not interfere, and your people will be simple and happy. When the government does interfere, the people become tense and cunning. Attack the difficulties that plague this country, and the world, while they are easy to control. Eliminate the evil and viciousness we see around, before it becomes destructive. Doing this is called “attending to great things at small beginnings.”
A giant Redwood tree, wider than a 2-way road, grows from a tiny sprout. The Empire State Building, rose from a shovel full of earth. A journey of a thousand miles, begins with a single step. Therefore you must have integral virtue and not set about grandiose things, and you will be able to achieve great things.
You must dissolve all contradictory concepts and images in order to maintain a natural state of simplicity. Do not complicate things for the people, and they will be easy to manage. If you lead others with a conditioned and complicated mind, you will be the source of calamity. If you lead others with simplicity you will be the source of blessings.
“How does the sea become queen of all rivers and streams? By lying lower than they do!” Therefore, humble yourself, and you will be able to serve the people. By putting yourself last you will become our leader. When someone of true virtue is set above the people, they do not see that person as a burden. And when he stands in front of the people, they do not see him as an obstruction.
Remember, the world will always follow a leader of subtle virtue joyfully, and will never tire of doing so.

Eric, you need not know a lot about politics as you wrote, but you indeed do know a lot about truth and leadership. This is great! If only the future leaders would read this. Michael
There is nothing just and right in politics — it is simply a struggle for power.
Send this to the White House soon!
Hope the future US President will be able to read this.Great articleand very creative:)
Hey Mr. Eric,
First, thank you so much for liking my pieces I hope you could promote it too…
Anyway, I’m an MPA (Master in Public Administration) student and I know things about Politics. I commend you for the suggestions you’ve given.
It’s actually a diverse level of leadership. Because as you know, in the Philippines, graft and corruption is highly foreseen. We may have all fine resources and unsurpassable skills and intelligence but it could not lead us to progress…
Best regards and keep reading,
