In his words at the national mall: “today, I say to you that the challenges we face are real. They are serious and they are many. They will not be met easily or in short span of time, but know this, America – they will be met”. You will observe that much is expected of him( Obama).
History has been made in America with the witnessing of the 44th person (Obama) that took the oath that the likes of Abraham Lincoln, John f. Kennedy and the remaining past forty one leaders that have taken the oath. Obama was not unaware of the fact that the challenges facing America are many and serious. He’s not going to be a lip service leader who will make his citizens to believe that their problems or needs can be met easily. A biological black man from Africa was elected not selected to be the U.S president and that perhaps fulfill the prophecy of king “I have a dream”. What an amazing personified personality that realizes that only real problems can be solved practically and otherwise. That was the implication of his words when he said in his inaugural speech that “America’s challenges are real”. He further exuded the confidence when he unreservedly asserted to the whole world that America’s challenges can be met.
