Eric Holder’s Fast and Furious Cover-up

In a move clearly intended to protect both himself and President Barack Obama, Eric Holder initiates promotions of those directly involved in the Fast and Furious/Gunrunner fiasco, while simulteanously attempting to force Congress to turn over the very documents that could potentially prove his and Obama’s own wrongdoing in the growing scandal.
It is not the first time Obama Attorney General Eric Holder has so openly shown he acts most decisively when he is most threatened. Last year it was Holder who effectively shut down an investigation into the explosive allegations of racism against white victims of crime within the Obama Department of Justice. The New Black Panther voter intimidation case had both in-house testimony and corroboration, and a decision by an oversight panel that sided with the charges of racism and intimidation, and yet Eric Holder in his capacity as one of the most powerful federal officials in the nation, shut it down. The move itself gave at the very least an appearance by Holder of personally initiating a cover-up, but a Congress then still controlled by Democrats allowed the termination of the case, and no further substantive inquiries were made.
That was then – and this is now. Once again Eric Holder is openly showing his desperation in wanting to minimize the possible damage against himself and President Barack Obama regarding the still developing Fast and Furious/Gunrunner scandal. Last week reports began circulating of promotions being granted to three top supervisors of the failed and deadly federal program that resulted in thousands of guns being placed into the hands of known criminals that ultimately led to the deaths of government officials and citizens on both sides of the U.S.-Mexican border. Two of the three officials promoted previously admitted publicly to their own failings while overseeing the Fast and Furious operation. These failings were in direct violation of their duties as ATF supervisors – and yet, Eric Holder saw to it they were promoted and each placed at ATF headquarters in Washington D.C. – within walking distance to Holder’s own Department of Justice offices.
Now Attorney General Holder is upping the cover-up stakes, sending a formal request to both Senator Chuck Grassley and Representative Darrell Issa – the two legislators who have most aggressively pushed for answers in the Operations Fast and Furious debacle, that both turn over documents they have related to the ongoing investigation. This request from Holder came despite his own refusal to comply with repeated requests from both Grassley and Issa for further information regarding the case currently only available to the Department of Justice. Attorney General Holder insists his request for information from those who are in effect, investigating him, is simply to assist what he claims is an ongoing “internal” investigation of the Fast and Furious scandal.
Both Congressman Issa and Senator Grassley maintain a belief that a Department of Justice cover-up is underway – and one that they believe, “goes all the way to the top” of the Barack Obama administration…

I haven’t been paying attention to politics all that long, but it seems to me that it is getting nastier, and nastier, and the stakes are getting higher and higher. Although, nowadays with the Internet, conservative voices are coming through, which I don’t think they were, say, in the pre-’Net days, where the liberals controlled the news that the Great Unwashed could get a hold of.
Before there was Internet, I was a liberal. However, being able to read opposing sides on the ‘Net has definitely turned me around.
Bottom line – if the head of the Justice Department is corrupt, are any of us really safe, or really free?

every day, every week, a new and underhanded episode compliments of this administration. Yet nothing is exposed nationally, nothing changes. Holder, Obama and these slime balls continue to suck the life out of American values and throw away what was once the greatest nation on earth. Everyone knows they are thieves and liars and socialists, yet nothing happens to them, they continue to do as they please while we all continue to shake our heads in wonder at how these people hoodwinked so many ignorant voters. Worst president in history..by far. appointing all these sleazy people with no ethincs or morals, circumventing laws and doing as they please. Shameful, disgusting, and i am so weary of dishonesty in our “leaders”
What is more unsettling is that there are many in BHO’s ranks that KNOW this is going on and are complicit or are too cowardly to confront it.
Nice photo with Nixon’s nose & jowels photoshopped in! But Nixon’s coverup was only about digging up a little dirt (which were facts) on the Democrats. People dont even pay attention to the kinds of things that got Nixon out of office. If a candidate had pulled the kinds of tricks Obamination is pulling now during Nixon’s re-election campaign, he would have been tried for treason and shot if found guilty. People have gotten so used to corruption, they accept it. Well, some people accept it. But a lot of people HAVE paid attention and noticed the B.S.
Let’s face it, Obama, Pelosi and Reid and their continual attempts to turn the US into the USSR are reason the Tea Party exist. I am saying they CREATED the Tea Party. Without them, there is no need for Tea Party!
So these are the smart ones in DC. Get these ppl out and start fresh. I thought I was being punk’d.

Issa and Grassley should simply respond to Holder: quid pro quo.
When we receive all documents requested from you, we’ll be happy to turn over (perhaps similarly, heavily redacted) copies of the documents you’ve requested.
Ideally, they’d uphold their Constitutional oversight responsibilities and immediately begin impeachment proceedings … but I know that’s asking too much from the current players in the corrupt system.

We know Fast & Furious aka Gunrunner was not done without orders from the top. Even Watergate never killed anyone but THIS seems to slide by, our government is murdering it’s own citizens.
The big question now is, what are WE going to do about this ?

Everyone should take notice of this and be screaming at the top of their lungs at the out of control liberties taken by this administration to hide any and all information relating to serious issues such as the latest, fast and furious fiasco and how they go about ignoring requests by investagative committees for information. Why anyone would still be enamered of this person in our White House that has surrounded himself with those who will carry out his agenda to destroy all that has made this a great country, is beyond many of us. His agenda and what he has carried out so far falls in line with the Agenda 21 potocol that the U.N. is pushing across the world and will succeed, even though we are the biggest and hardest nation to bring down. All must start paying attention and doing something about this before it is too late. He goes unchallenged while he pushes new resolutions through executive order that carries out the plans set forth. His latest being on June 9, 2011. President Obama issued a sweeping executive order for a White House Rural Council that purports to exert broad municipal powers over the food, fiber, and energy production of rural America. Where’s the Line, America to how much power the president can amass by executive order? Notice the talking head that keeps bashing “conspiracy theorists” who don’t want federal control over local lands. This concept was conceived many years ago and the first we all heard it was from the Senior Bush’s presidency when he signed on in Brazil at a U.N conference and the first to call it the “New World Order”. This president has signed onto this, along with many others, and is actively pursuing the goals set forth in Agenda 21. Wake up America and check this out by Looking this up researching Agenda 21 and executive order # 13575. It will take Americans to stand together and insist that your local governments stop all that pertains to Sustainalbe Environment or Social Justice…..both of which the wording can be adapted to many situations in local government projects that the local pliticians have been sold a bill of goods, and signed on, with the promises made. Farmers are at rish and our food supplies. Just check out some of the already accomplished or plans in the woks and start to put it together,
no ,not arrest them. They broke the law and put Americans and other innocent people from other countries in danger. They caused the deathof no telling how many.Seems to me it is aiding and abetting the enemy. They should be arrested and charged with treason. They have gotten away with way to much. What a shame our people can not trust or respect our Government. How much more do you think many are going to take ?
