39 years Asim Buksh, whether go to work or play travels in luxury cars and why doesn’t he travel? At last he is the owner of a group that earns millions of dollars yearly by doing different kind of businesses.

A strange incident that occurred two years back has totally changed his life. The thing is that his 9 years old, nature loving and environmental friendly daughter, one day asked her father if he is not involved in works that are rising the environmental temperature.

This question surprised the father and when he read different articles on the subject, he came to know that he is also involved in works that raise environmental temperature, but the question was, how can he leave traveling by car or planes and living in a splendid house?

While thinking, a unique trick came into Asim’s mind – He can play his role in the environmental safety by launching new plans of alternate energy. He also knew that 43% of Pakistanis do not avail electricity. This very thought showed him the human and environment friendly way and the pressure of committing sin on his conscience has also reduced to much extent.

After some research work he came to know that God has bestowed solar energy to his country in abundance. Thus, he soon established a company “Buksh Energy”.  Residing in Lahore, he initially imported solar lamps for villagers and fishermen. Then realizing that thousands of farmers in Punjab use pumps for irrigation, he started importing solar pumps.

Conventional pumps ran by diesel generator. Only in the Province Punjab there are such 80 million generators. Not only these machines cost much but are also anti-environmental. Asim calculated that if a single solar pump would be installed on a well, it would cost around 8 lakhs 25 thousands rupees. But the encouraging thing was that the installation expenses would be equalized only after 2 years of its usage.

Now, the problem arises that many farmers didn’t keep as much money that they can buy the solar pumps. Asim found a way that he started giving loans to farmers so that he could bring green revolution in Pakistan. The monthly installment of these loans is the same that is spent on the diesel.

Asim says that presently Pakistan is facing severe shortage of electricity. On top of that 89% people cannot take loans from banks. I have sorted out a solution which has solved both the problems. Patriotic and environmental friendly Asim Buksh still wants to go extra mile. His courage is young and ambitions high. He has a desire that in the next 10 years 5% of Pakistan’s electricity needs would be fulfilled by alternate resources.

That’s why he wants building big power houses that runs on solar energy and also wants to construct dams. He says that 5% energy needs in Pakistan are equal to 80 lakhs tons of oil. If this oil can be saved, not only foreign exchange would be saved but also the environment becomes clean. Asim says that at that time he may also leave using normal cars and start using electrical cars.
