I have a suggestion for an excellent TV ad for the McCain campaign.

As I watched the debate between Senators Barrack Obama and John McCain on September 24, I counted at least ten times that Mr. Obama said, “I agree with Senator McCain.” Ten times. And I think there were at least two more that I didn’t count because of a distraction from my grandson for whom my wife and I were baby sitting at the time of the debate.

It came to me the next day, a brilliant television ad that Mr. McCain could run. It would be a very simple ad to produce.

The McCain campaign could take those ten or twelve times Mr. Obama stated he agreed with Mr. McCain and string them all together, one right after another. Then at the end, Mr. McCain’s voice would be heard, “I’m John McCain and I approve this message, and apparently, so does my opponent.”

Now that would be an entertaining and effective ad free from negative remarks and accusations. Of course, it might cause voters to think that if Mr. Obama agrees with Mr. McCain so much, then where is the change he keeps talking about?

I for one would love to see this ad playing on my television. I wouldn’t even claim they stole my idea! Go for it, guys. It’s all yours.
