Clinton may have some more ammunition in her fight (or perhaps bid or plea) to stay in the hunt for the democratic until the end.
It’s going to be a tall order nevertheless. What Clinton is banking on, in addition to trying to get the votes from delegates in Florida and Michigan to count (the votes in those 2 states were disallowed because voting in those 2 states happened too early, against party rules), are the recent priest scandals involving Obama and McCain.
According to an ABC News report, Father Michael Pfleger mocked Clinton’s tears by pretending to cry himself and adding that “She just always thought that, “This is mine. I”m Bill’s wife. I’m white. I’m entitled. There’s a black man stealing my show”. The best shot for Clinton in terms of respectability now that Florida and Michigan have been denied representation at the Democratic National Convention, is for either Obama or McCain to make a mistake, but it’s still a very tall order which is why former president Clinton is pushing her as a potential vice-presidential nominee, but this is highly unlikely as Obama has run on a platform of hope and Clinton’s campaign has been filled with bitterness and attack ads.
