Yesterday, all eyes were on Obama and all ears were so attentive and listened to his speech. His journey as the first African-American President of United States of America marked as history of the nation and even beyond. The world were watching and in celebration of the big happening in the history of United States of America.

Barack Hussien Obama affirmed in yesterday, January 20, 2009 as 44th president of the United states who sworn to serve and protect the nation and the U.S Constitution. In his speech, he soberly and solemnly delivered about the present situation of the country. Nation’s at war, violence and hatred, economy is in bad shape, lost homes, unemployment and bankruptcy in businesses. He also mentioned that the health care is too expensive, school issues and other concerns.  As he noted that it brings threatening experience on earth “These are the indicators of crisis, subject to data and statistics“,  Obama said. America face the new challenge today as what he emphasized. However, Barack Obama promised in front of million Americans that even though it requires more time to solve all of these challenges, he took an oath or assurance that all of these things will be met.

Millions of American’s gathered yesterday, thousands of masses assembled on the National Mall outside the west front of the U.S Capitol  to witnessed the big event. The New York Times called it “Profound Moment”  in the history of America while the Daily Times only extends “Congratulations, Mr. President”. Television network and other mass communications focused entirely on Obama’s speech. His speech was short, clear and concise but grounded with too many hopes for the nation. He never failed to mentioned the people who fought and died in the battle just to fight the freedom and liberty of the nation, “they fought and died, in places like Concord and Gettysburg; Normandy and Khe Sahn”, he said yesterday.

As expected, he emphasized that everyone are created equal, “the God-given promise that all are equal, all are free, and all deserve a chance to pursue their full measure of happiness”, after he delivered this statement, many people couldn’t help but applauded his lines. All were hopefuls and expect the change that they desired to happen. Many faces were lift up in front of the camera when he spoke with sobriety and seriousness to stand up as the 44th President of the United States.

Would Obama will be the one? Will he be the change that people in America expect to be? Let it be and so it be.
