“I Barack Hussein Obama, do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, so help me God”.

My own screen shot 2009
Yesterday, all eyes were on Obama and all ears were so attentive and listened to his speech. His journey as the first African-American President of United States of America marked as history of the nation and even beyond. The world were watching and in celebration of the big happening in the history of United States of America.
Barack Hussien Obama affirmed in yesterday, January 20, 2009 as 44th president of the United states who sworn to serve and protect the nation and the U.S Constitution. In his speech, he soberly and solemnly delivered about the present situation of the country. Nation’s at war, violence and hatred, economy is in bad shape, lost homes, unemployment and bankruptcy in businesses. He also mentioned that the health care is too expensive, school issues and other concerns. As he noted that it brings threatening experience on earth “These are the indicators of crisis, subject to data and statistics“, Obama said. America face the new challenge today as what he emphasized. However, Barack Obama promised in front of million Americans that even though it requires more time to solve all of these challenges, he took an oath or assurance that all of these things will be met.
Millions of American’s gathered yesterday, thousands of masses assembled on the National Mall outside the west front of the U.S Capitol to witnessed the big event. The New York Times called it “Profound Moment” in the history of America while the Daily Times only extends “Congratulations, Mr. President”. Television network and other mass communications focused entirely on Obama’s speech. His speech was short, clear and concise but grounded with too many hopes for the nation. He never failed to mentioned the people who fought and died in the battle just to fight the freedom and liberty of the nation, “they fought and died, in places like Concord and Gettysburg; Normandy and Khe Sahn”, he said yesterday.
As expected, he emphasized that everyone are created equal, “the God-given promise that all are equal, all are free, and all deserve a chance to pursue their full measure of happiness”, after he delivered this statement, many people couldn’t help but applauded his lines. All were hopefuls and expect the change that they desired to happen. Many faces were lift up in front of the camera when he spoke with sobriety and seriousness to stand up as the 44th President of the United States.
Would Obama will be the one? Will he be the change that people in America expect to be? Let it be and so it be.

Great article and a very interesting read.
We will have to wait and see how the story unfolds. I will pray for him.
His speeches are just so inspirational. His presentation of them especially. Like a preacher. He makes you listen. I think we will see change for the better.
Very good article.
Great article about someone so watched upon.
Mys,
This is a very good article. Yesterday our nation witnessed a historical event that all once thought would not ever happen. A black man for President. If he wasn’t the right man for the job, he wouldn’t have been elected. I honestly believe he will be for all Americans, and not just for one race only. Only the racists will make his Presidency a racial issue.Lets see what Barack Obama is made of. He may be one of the best Presidents we’ve ever had. But we won’t know until we give him a chance. I believe the next President that will follow Obama will be a woman. So again we will see history made.
Randy
That’s wonderfully put. Thanks so much.
I think he will do what he can in the four years he has to do it. He is not god and cannot create miracles.
