The Audacity To Be Misled

Barrack Obama utilized a slick election campaign, creating websites that purportedly portrayed political questions and answers in a non-biased forum when in fact the supposed unbiased information was all democratic party rhetoric. Young and inexperienced college student voters were targeted with these tactics. Many blacks demonstrably voted for Barrack without even knowing what he stood for or even caring what issues he supported. People disenchanted with eight years of a Republican majority voted for the new president just for the sake of a change, regardless of what that change might mean. This past election, more than anything, demonstrated a reactionary phenomenon more than progressive or rational choices by the voters.

The US media abandoned any code of ethics which would have dictated equal and unbiased coverage of the election for all presidential candidates and almost unanimously voted in Barrack Obama themselves. Many TV journalists even shouted down anyone they interviewed who professed an opposing viewpoint. It was shockingly apparent that our supposed free press acted more like some state owned propaganda agency of the former Soviet Union. The only source of reason or objectivity were the scraps of ratings left to conservative radio networks and Christian talk radio affiliates who came under attack by Obama supporters as well. Our predominantly liberal news media made short work of the right wing opposition, labeling them as all being Rush Limbaugh followers who wanted to cut welfare and social programs while waging war on innocent Muslims the world over. This unfair generalization of their opposition as being unsympathetic to the poor and being war mongers characterized the tactics used by Obama promoters.

Scott Wilder, a radio talk show host in the Dallas market 100.7 FM came under constant criticism and attack by liberal and black callers attempting to flood the phone lines and silence those in support of John McCaine in the weeks that preceded the election. Supposed Christians supporting traditional moral issues such as non-abortion, traditional marriage between man and woman, and conservative politics, abandoned those time honored precepts of morality and voted for Obama anyway. Wilder argued against the hypocrisy of voting for a candidate who supported values completely opposed to Christian values of wholesome and traditional ethics, but to no avail. He was one of many broadcasters who found that our once All American values and Christian oriented morality are under attack by a new breed of political agenda that wants to interject change with a vengeance.

Where was the voice of reason in all this? Obama was a mystery man, who came up through the ranks of the Democratic party in just two years from seemingly nowhere. In Chicago, the man had prevailed over a failed urban renewal project that had cost tax payers 160 million dollars and is still under investigation by the FBI. His two mentors, Reverend Wright, a well known racist, and William Ayers, a convicted domestic terrorist, who regretted having not done more damage, kept close company with Obama for years. When asked to produce a valid birth certificate, Obama has refused, even ordered the State of Hawaii not to open it’s archives. One website sponsored by the Obama election campaign produced a scanned and obviously faked birth certificate document that was dismissed as a fraud. Isn’t it against the law to alter or forge state identification documents? How come the law does not apply to President Obama? Isn’t it a constitutional requirement that the president of the United States of America be a natural born citizen and must prove it?

Barrack Obama’s avid association with the ACORN organization is also a grave question mark about his doubtful affiliations. Offices in Nevada raided for voter fraud, numerous law suits and allegations of corruption, and yet no shadow seems to be cast upon the president for his involvement in this infamous group. The US media refuses to cover the subject.

Another question of Obama’s character and true orientation has been the lock down of his academic records at Columbia University. One would have to wonder just what his true orientation and political views must be if they have to be hidden from public view. As many have asked before, what does this man have to hide?

The first two hundred days of Obama’s presidency have been marked by record spending that has sky rocketed from a 480 billion deficit during the Bush administration to more than 2 trillion in the short time that the new administration has been at the helm. In that time Obama has interfered with the bankruptcy negotiations of GM and Chrysler, hastened his same sex marriage agenda with pro gay legislation, and forced bailout subsidies to many banks that refused to take financial aid under intimidation imposed by the Fed. He promises more jobs created by his costly legislation as unemployment continues to climb. Only the hiring of some 600,000 federal employees offers to weakly stem the tide, but only at more cost to the American taxpayer. Expanding the federal government is not a cost effective way to remedy a failing economy. Despite warnings by financial experts such as Peter Schiff of the looming disaster of catastrophic currency devaluation as a result of Bernanke’s excessive money printing at the Federal Reserve, the circus continues.

It is interesting to note that in the midst of this financial quagmire we find that Barrack Obama sat at the helm along with Raines and others, who rode the mortgage giant Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac on a hell-bound course to insolvency. Their policies of allowing applicants who could not normally pass credit requirements to be awarded mortgages in the name of racial equality backfired and accounted for unprecedented loan defaults that toppled the two lending giants, necessitating even more costly damage control with the infamous bail out.

It is clear that if you are going to have the audacity to be misled, ignoring the troubling signs of one’s poor financial qualifications, their questionable associations with those who teach hate and violence as well as having to hide the true nature of one’s self from public scrutiny make just the right recipe for disaster. Congratulations are in order. To you who have chosen a Pied Piper who met all those qualifications.
