The Life of Osama Bin Laden | Myths, Lies and Excuses to Invade, Start Wars and War Crimes

Once upon a time the world (apart from some officials in Pakistan if one theory is to be believed) did not know where Al Qaeda’s leader, Osama Bin Laden, was. It was almost a decade since his organisation had attacked America and almost 3,000 citizens and visitors had been murdered in cold blood. Since then Osama Bin Laden had not been found in Afghanistan. This was despite a war against the Taliban government of the country who had refused to hand Bin Laden over and also despite the subsequent thousands of deaths of innocent people and young soldiers. Osama Bin Laden had not been found in Iraq either despite the belief of W Bush who instigated an attack and invasion of Iraq and yet more deaths of innocent people and young soldiers. Nobody held in the American prison in Cuba (Guantanamo Bay) knew where Osama Bin Laden was either and this despite flagrant disregard of the Geneva Convention particularly in relation to torture.

Conspiracies, Theories and Myths about the Death of Osama Bin Laden

Before the SEALS attack in early May 2011 it was widely reported that Osama Bin Laden had died from kidney failure. The events and pictures released of the may attackmay have dispelled this belief. He was alive until May 2011 and there was no proof that Bin Laden was suffering with any kidney illness. What else was found to be untrue? 

Benazir Bhutto, the former leader of the PPP (Pakistan Peoples Party) until she was assassinated declared in an interview with David Frost (see video below) that Osama Bin Laden had been murdered. She made this declaration in 2007:

The initial reports claimed that Bin Laden had used one of his wives as a human shield and that she died in the scuffle. This story was never declared incorrect but was merely superseded. 

It won’t be long before someone invents the theory that Osama Bin Laden was not killed by American forces in the high walled compound north of Islamabad in Pakistan but that it was his “twin brother” instead. It will be like (maybe it is already) The Man in the Iron Mask all over again but with Osama Bin Laden featuring in the stead of the French king Louis XIV. 

Another Death on the Toilet

Another story doing the rounds is that Bin Laden was on the toilet when he was shot dead. That would not have been a first. The “heretic” Arius was burned to death while he sat on his in 336. Others assassinated on their toilet were (supposedly) James I of Scotland in 1437 and Henri III of France in 1589 but who knows if any of these stories are anything but propaganda or wishful thinking? We can’t just accept these accounts. For example, are we to believe that the Scots had toilets before the English monarchs? Don’t forget, some sorely missed people died on the toilet too. The latter includes Elvis Priestly and Lenny Bruce.

The Tea Party backlash has started and its intention is to punish Obama for presiding over the operation which brought about the death of Osama Bin Laden. Their celebrations were cut short when it was mentioned that George W Bush could not do what Osama Hussein Obama could. Among the worst of them is the confirmed Obama hater who goes by the name of Ulsterman.
