Some of the loudest critics of Barack Obama’s dubious jobs plan proposal are coming from within his own Democratic Party.

“TERRIBLE!” So says influential Democrat Senator Jim Webb regarding President Barack Obama’s long-promised jobs bill proposal. This proposal, which is just now making the rounds of Congress, is being met with considerable derision and ridicule – and much of it coming from President Obama’s own political party.
“PASS THIS BILL NOW!” So said Barack Obama repeatedly in the last week, despite not even having an actual bill to pass at the time. It now appears a growing number of Democrats are willing to openly express an unwillingness to comply with their president’s repeated demands.
“MAYBE IT’S JUST FOR HIS ELECTION – WHICH I HOPE ISN’T THE CASE.” So says Democrat Senator Mary Landrieu, of Obamacare infamy. Having a senator from your own political party comparing in public the entire jobs bill proposal to a cheap political stunt has to be creating a bit of heartburn in the Obama camp.
Other Democrats indicated concerns that the president was so willing to further gut Social Security funding to help pay for his short-term tax relief. What remains largely unreported in the mainstream media is the fact that the nearly half trillion dollar Obama jobs bill proposal is largely dependent upon removing hundreds of billions more from Social Security payroll taxes. In essence, while the current crop of Republican presidential candidates debate how best to save Social Security, no politician in the 70-year history of the program has done more to damage the very funding of Social Security than has Barack Obama.
If Barack Obama cannot even lead his own party – how are we to believe he can lead America?

I hate to say it, but the only thing Obama is fit to lead, would be a turd spiraling down a toilet.
thanks for sharing
Obama is desperate to pass his jobs bill because he knows in 2012 he won’t have one….
ok
Ulsterman, while your mini-articles are decent fillers, most is news that I’ve already read. How about something from the Insider about Solyndra, and the prospective GOP nominees. What’s happening?
Time for impeachment or to invoke the 25th Amendment Section 4. This means that Congress or someone in the Cabinet has to make a stand for the Sovreign Republic of the USA. Let’s see who love the US as much as we do, they are elected to represent us but they represent Wall Street. How do they get away with the double standard day after day?
PASS THIS BILL NOW…and you can read the details later at your leisure.
How’d that work out for you last time we heard this same refrain?
Flimflam Man still uses the same-old playbook and thinks we won’t notice that he’s done all this before.
That’s why his poll numbers are in the toilet…but he still thinks his reelection chances are better than 2008.
Apparently he is one of the dwindling few who still believes in his BS.
What, exactly, are the details of Obama’s wonderful jobs plan. I want to actually be able to see, in some detail, where the money is going to be spent – not just see some huge general numbers targeted for a few special groups or projects.
And while you’re at it, I’m still waiting on some detailed accounting of what black hole all that money already spent disappeared into.
I’ve been searching all over the internet and all I can find is the same old news releases.
Something has to be done with the employment rate. I simply disagree with mandating that everyone has to have health insurance, many can’t afford it and they should not be penalized for it.
