Some of the loudest critics of Barack Obama’s dubious jobs plan proposal are coming from within his own Democratic Party.

“TERRIBLE!”   So says influential Democrat Senator Jim Webb regarding President Barack Obama’s long-promised jobs bill proposal.  This proposal, which is just now making the rounds of Congress, is being met with considerable derision and ridicule – and much of it coming from President Obama’s own political party.

“PASS THIS BILL NOW!”  So said Barack Obama repeatedly in the last week, despite not even having an actual bill to pass at the time.  It now appears a growing number of Democrats are willing to openly express an unwillingness to comply with their president’s repeated demands.

“MAYBE IT’S JUST FOR HIS ELECTION – WHICH I HOPE ISN’T THE CASE.”  So says Democrat Senator Mary Landrieu, of Obamacare infamy.  Having a senator from your own political party comparing in public the entire jobs bill proposal to a cheap political stunt has to be creating a bit of heartburn in the Obama camp.

Other Democrats indicated concerns that the president was so willing to further gut Social Security funding to help pay for his short-term tax relief.  What remains largely unreported in the mainstream media is the fact that the nearly half trillion dollar Obama jobs bill proposal is largely dependent upon removing hundreds of billions more from Social Security payroll taxes.  In essence, while the current crop of Republican presidential candidates debate how best to save Social Security, no politician in the 70-year history of the program has done more to damage the very funding of Social Security than has Barack Obama.

If Barack Obama cannot even lead his own party – how are we to believe he can lead America?
