ARMAGEDDON

Whether you believe in the Biblical scriptures or in the fact that men often do things to bring about the great moments foretold in Bibles and Holy relics, there is no doubting that Armageddon is now on the brink.

Armageddon is nothing more than the battle to beat all battles;  The War that begins the “End of Days.
In ancient Greek, Armageddon means Mount Megiddo.
File:JPF-TelMegiddo.JPG
Meggido, being a location in or around Northern Israel has had many battles fought within it’s boundaries before, but the next war they have will be one where Kings meet on the field of battle and bring upon the world everlasting peace. Sounds good to me, but unfortunately, many will die getting us there.

In Christianity, the belief is that Kings will meet and battle on the Mount, or more defined, the base of the mount. It’s not the mount, but the land and the plain which precedes the mount. This would make sense as being a “Field of Battle” of sorts. But, then again, this could easily relate to all of Northern Israel.

OK!  So, this means a War of the GODS will meet here and we can expect peace on Earth ever after.

We know that Christians and Hebrews are standing with Israel. We stand with the God of Abraham and this means we stand with Jesus the Lord and Savior of us all. So we must assume that Jesus, King of the Jews is most likely one of these Kings. Many also are well aware that any coming of Jesus relates to the Tribulation. This also means that he will drive down Satan for another 1,000 years.
Hey!  I’m cool with this. So when is it all going to happen?  Or has it already happened?

My guess is, it hasn’t yet happened. My guess is also that it will happen in the Holy land by the date of the birth of Jesus the King; Somewhere in October or November. Naturally, I’m simply guessing here, but HEY!!!!!!!!!  You have any better ideas?

Of course, if you play with the calendars changing from other measures to Gregorian, we can get a completely different idea of exactly how many years after his Birth, Jesus comes back.  Fun to give some thought to.

Here is an example:
Scholars have stated that Ezekiel 4 is the time line for the date of the State of Israel coming into being.
You have to cut some corners and change some calendars to get there, but you can get there.

In Ezekiel 4, God instructed Ezekiel to lay on his side for 430 days, representing 430 years of iniquity upon Israel. But He also promised that He will gather Israel “out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land” (Ezekiel 36:24.) True to prophecy, the people were taken captive by Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon, in 606 B.C. (Daniel 1.) The Babylonian Captivity lasted 70 years as prophesied in Jeremiah 25:11, ending in 536 B.C. (Ezra 1.) At the conclusion of the Bablylonian Captivity, 360 years remained of the 430 years prophesied by Ezekiel. But Israel did not repent of its sin. Indeed only 50,000 people returned at the end of the 70 years (Ezra 2:64-65.) Most of Israel chose not to return with Zerubbabel at that time. In Leviticus 26:18, God warned Israel that if Israel continued in sin after punishment, the punishment would be multiplied 7 times. When the remaining 360 years is multiplied by 7, the punishment extends to 2,520 years. God’s prophetic year is based upon a 360 day year (see Genesis 7:11, 7:24 and 8:5; Revelation 12:6 and 12:14, as examples). 2,520 years of 360 days is 907,200 days. Based upon our solar calendar, this is 2483 years, 9 months and 21 days. Adding this period to the date of the decree of King Cyrus discussed in Ezra 1 (see above), we come to what is most probably May 14, 1948 (do not forget that there is no year 0 A.D.) God’s Word & Jerusalem: June 7, 1967 The exact same calculation can also apply to the captivity of Jerusalem. When the people were taken into captivity in 606 B.C., the city of Jerusalem was not then destroyed. However, in 587 B.C., Jerusalem was taken and the temple destroyed (II Kings 25.) 70 years later, in 517 B.C., the temple was reconstructed (Ezra 6:15.) When we add 2483 years, 9 months and 21 days to this date, we come to what is most probably June 7, 1967. What is special about this date? June 7, 1967 is the concluding day of the “6-Day War,” in which Israel, for the first time since 517 B.C., regained Jerusalem. God’s keen interest in Israel clearly continues into this century
This Piece was taken from the included link: http://brideofmessiah.wordpress.com/2011/08/24/bible-prophecies-about-israel-predicted-the-dates-14th-may-1948-7th-june-1967/

So, I guess if we can find a piece in the Bible pertaining to May 14, 1948, we can pinpoint the Birth of Jesus through the date he reappears. Then again, it could all just be happenstance and this is just another way to read too much into the Bible; or is it?

In Iran, it isn’t just the Khomeini’s but even that nut job , Ahmadinejad said: ”Yes, that’s true. I prayed for the arrival of the 12th Imam. The owner of the age, as we call him. Because the owner of the age is the symbol of the – justice and brotherly love prevailing around the world. When the Imam arrives, all of these problems will be resolved. And a prayer for the owner of the age is nothing but a wish for justice and brotherly love to prevail around the world. And it’s an obligation a person takes upon himself to always think about brotherly love. And also to treating others as equals. All people can establish such a connection with the Imam of the age. It’s roughly the same as the relationship which exists between Christians and the Christ. They speak with Jesus Christ and they are sure that Christ hears them. And responds. Therefore, this is not limited to us only. Any person can talk with the Imam.”

The 12th Imam?  Really?  Let’s take a closer look at this dude:

I hear things about this guy only returning when his believers have covered the land in rivers of blood.  “Ewwwww”
The 12th Imam: Who Is The 12th Imam?
Within the Shiite, (which is predominate in Iran), it is prophesied that there is a coming 12th Imam who is the great spiritual savior. This Imam is named Abu al-Qasim Muhammad or also called Muhammad al Mahdi. He is said to have been born the son of the 11th Imam, Hasan Al-Askari and his wife, the granddaughter of an Emperor. There are conflicting statements of her name being either Fatima or Nargis Khatoon.

Most accounts of the story say that al Mahdi went into hiding as a child around the age of 5 years (about 13th Century). It said he has been ‘in hiding’ in caves ever since but will supernaturally return just before the Day of Judgment. According to the Hadith the criteria for the Hidden Imam are:

  • He will be a descendant of Muhammad and the son of Fatima
  • Will have a broad forehead and pointed nose
  • Will return just before the end of the world
  • His appearance will be preceded by a number of prophetic events during 3 years of horrendous world chaos, tyranny and oppression
  • Will escape from Madina to Mekkah, thousands will pledge allegiance to him
  • Will rule over the Arabs and the world for 7 years
  • Will eradicate all tyranny and oppression bringing harmony and total peace
  • Will lead a prayer in Mekkah which Jesus will be at his side and follow in

Remarkably, the 12th Imam theory plays heavily into the world’s current concerns with Iran. The Shiite Muslim President of Iran, Ahmadinejad, is deeply committed to the Islamic Messiah, al Mahdi. There have been many through the years claiming to be the Hidden Imam but Ahmadinejad believes he is yet to come. He claims that he is to personally prepare the world for the coming Mahdi. In order to save the world, it must be in a state of chaos and subjugation. Ahmadinejad claims he was “directed by Allah to pave the way for the glorious appearance of the Mahdi”. This apocalyptic directive includes some very scary proclamations.

We can now see that Christians are awaiting the return of Jesus and the Fruitcakes are awaiting BAAL, while the Jews are still waiting for their Messiah. So, is it just these three Kings who will meet in Meggido?
Or are there others?

Revelation is all about God sitting upon his throne unwrapping prophecies of his own ending the world as we know it.
First he deals with the seven churches… tells them what’s up and then he goes on as to who is worthy of opening the scroll and it’s seven seals.
The reply ends up being this:
“See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.”

So, as all seven seals are opened, The Lord God remains upon his throne and the Lamb, (Jesus) sits beside him. All the world cowers and hides as they now realize the battle has begun.

Revelation 6

The Seals

1 I watched as the Lamb opened the first of the seven seals. Then I heard one of the four living creatures say in a voice like thunder, “Come!” 2 I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.

3 When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, “Come!” 4 Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make people kill each other. To him was given a large sword.

5 When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come!” I looked, and there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand.6 Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, “Two pounds[a] of wheat for a day’s wages,[b]and six pounds[c] of barley for a day’s wages,[d] and do not damage the oil and the wine!”

7 When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, “Come!” 8 I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.

9 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. 10 They called out in a loud voice, “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?” 11Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers and sisters,[e] were killed just as they had been.

12 I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, 13 and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. 14 The heavens receded like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.

15 Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and everyone else, both slave and free, hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. 16 They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us[f] from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 17 For the great day of their[g] wrath has come, and who can withstand it?”

Hundreds of thousands, possibly millions die and they appear before the throne and have seals placed upon their foreheads… They are the great Washed who no longer have blood on their hands and will serve their God.

The lamb at the side of God will be their shepherd. Kinda makes sense if you think about it.

Here’s where it gets nasty….
The seventh seal is opened and seven angels appear blowing trumpets one by one.  Hail, fire, brimstone, cows and horses living together, gays marrying straights and the moon and the stars are now blacked out and all Hell is breaking loose and as if that wasn’t enough by Angel 4,
an eagle that was flying in midair called out in a loud voice: “Woe! Woe! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the trumpet blasts about to be sounded by the other three angels!”

OH My God, we’re talking Breastplates on Locusts and rabbits eating meat and all kinds of nasty stuff going on here… Earthquakes taking out cities and Earthquakes killing thousands and Two things that could possibly be demons or whatever come out of this abyss and some lady is standing before Heaven pregnant and this nasty dragon like creature comes to take and devour the kid as soon as she gives birth, but she kicks the kid out and God snatches it:
Ya gotta admit, this is pretty good stuff.

So, the Arch Angel Michael and his angels beat the snot out of the demon Satan and his angels and they fall down to the Earth. Of course, now Satan is ticked off and he goes after the lady that gave birth to the kid.
So, who was the kid?  Was it Michael?  I don’t know. I’m just guessing….

So, on and on and blah, blah, blah… The Beast gains favor with all the people left on Earth and then there’s this:
A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives its mark on their forehead or on their hand, they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath.

So, all of this brings us to the casting out of the beast…
But it remains rather vague as to exactly how this War of all Wars will bring upon the end of days.

We would need to go back to The War of Ezekiel 38–39 or The War of Gog and Magog to better understand the battle.

The Book of Ezekiel was written in the first half of the 6th century BC by Ezekiel, a former priest of the Temple in Jerusalem. Ezekiel lived through the traumatic events of the early 6th century BC which saw Jerusalem fall to the Babylonians, the Temple of Solomon destroyed, and many Israelites, himself included, carried off into captivity. The book explains these events as God’s punishments for Israel’s sins and lack of faith. In chapter 37, the vision of the “valley of dry bones”, Ezekiel at last assures the captives in Babylon that they will return from exile.[1]Chapters 38–39 then tell how Gog of Magog (meaning “Gog from the Land of Gog”) and his hordes from the north will threaten the restored Israel, but will be destroyed by God.[2] Then, following the defeat of Gog, God will establish a new Temple where he will dwell forever with his people (chapters 40-48).[3] The underlying theological message is that even so fearsome an enemy as this is ultimately under the control of the God of Israel, since it is God himself who says to Gog, “I will bring you against my land.”[4]
From Wikipedia

What we see here is a battle that seems to derive from the north of Israel.
We have these things going on right now.
Leon Pineta, the Secretary of Defense stating that he has it on good intel that Israel is planning to strike Iran in the Spring. April, May or June.
We have Mahmoud Imanutjob wanting to bring on the 12th Imam, and we have a problem in Syria that the United States is dying to get involved in, but Russia has just taken sides with Bashar Assad of Syria and messed up the plans for Obama and the Central Bank Cartel.

Inevitably, this is going to bring us all to Mount Meggido.
Let’s just say the 12th Imam does come for this meeting. He will need to meet the other Kings. In all the scripture I have glossed over, there could be as many as 4 Kings. Which means, maybe there is a Buddha or a Tarot or God knows what else. Or maybe there are just the two kings and they have a total of four angels. Who knows.

The point of all this is:
2012 could actually be the End of Days. Everything is lined up.
All the planets in this solar system will line up with the Galaxy’s black hole on Dec. 21st or something like that. If the moon in it’s cycles can hold different levels of Earthly results, than certainly, this event could be cataclysmic.

Anyway, It was all just a thought.
Hope you enjoyed the read. Have a great day,
K.D.
