Nancy Pelosi being removed from office.

Despite being overcome by republicans during the elections Tuesday, Nancy Pelosi is still trying to keep her position as Speaker of the House. Republicans have vowed to make change happen once they achieved majority in the House; getting rid of Pelosi being one of those changes. Starting out as Speaker of the House, Pelosi was widely popular. Today her approval rating has declined significantly to below 50% Americans are not at all pleased with her policies and democratic way of thinking. Her views on certain issues have proven just how out of touch she is with reality. Even as she recognizes her dwindling approval rating, she still fails to see that American people no longer want her as their Speaker of the House. Democrats would agree that her and president Obama make quite the duo in Washington. Republicans would say that these two are taking the country down the drain. Because republicans do have the majority in the House, they have the power to appoint a new Speaker of the House. This will be just one of the many changes republicans plan to make and it will be interesting to see how the future weeks will play out.
