Will the President’s Final Gambit be enough to place America back on track?, or will the economic recession end up devouring the country?

Times are truly dire in this present day: The United States face a dire crisis brought upon themselves by the previous president, George W. Bush, who, in his two presidential periods, thrusted the economic powers of the world’s supernation down to critical levels, utilizing the Iraq War as a means of obtaining cheap petroleum and covering up the repeated anomalies hat occurred inside his government.

The enormous pooling of resources that gave about the U.S’s invasion of Iraq has now taken it’s toll, as the country was literally “drowned” inside a brutal wave of disemployement in 2008. Businesses slowly crumbled one after another, exportation rates crumbled, and recession slowly ensued.

In 2008, the Obama Administration rallies victory through use of a massive campaign that called for “Hope” in the upcoming need of change.

January 20, 2009, President Barack Obama was inaugurated in office. He and his administration were now tasked with healing 8 years worth of damage to what had been a superpower.

This was when America’s last gambit was put in motion.

This is America’s last chance..

It’s also quite simple, Change or Decay: As the World’s nations finally begin to rise up from the far reaching constrains that came as a result of the end of World War 2, the economic and political playing field changes. No longer are these the days of superpower driven markets, or general restrictions imposed on international trade.

As most of Europe and North America begin to slowly fade, due to their own specific reasons (all pertaining to corruption and lack of political initiative) new powers rise to take their places, among them, Brazil, India, Germany and, as the USA’s most likely succesor, China. Stock markets such as Wall Street can no longer dominate as much financial power as they did in the days of yore, because large scale corporations are no longer viable.

The so called Sharks that rose in the last 3 decades of monetary boom, are now simply extinct.

The explanation: taxes and financial inflation are a constant, they will always exist because no matter what system we employ to participate in trade, it will never be perfect, resulting in unbalanced gain or loss of value among those who exchange whatever goods there can be.

In an effort to stay competitive, corporations and grand scale companies of all trades initiated a process of eliminating or absorbing as much value of small businesses they could, hoarding experts and professionals of any kind, just to keep them away from their rival’s hands.

This practice started in the 60s, when American corps started taken their range of control far beyond what was deemed safe, propagating laws (Health care, Taxes, Employee Contracting, etc) that would favor them above the common citizens.

“Hippies” as the more liberal kind of citizen was nicknamed, initiated mass protests against events such as the Gulf War, which among many others, was one of the things that yelled “Corporate Influence” all over, specifically, to obtain fuel and sell weaponry, nobody really believed this was specifically harmful to the country: The Government had simply introduced new laws, that, with the short amount of media attention that they were given, nobody believed would cause much harm. The USA was “fighting the good fight” against the Gulf terrorists, we were all very innocent, and ideas such as a possible economical collapse were not something you heard on the news.

This may be sounding somewhat like a history lesson on your own country, we all hate that, so I’ll skip up some 50 years in the future..

The Future

No, we still don’t have robot servants or a perfectly “Green” society, we have this:

It’s mostly like this

We currently live in a country where the following rules can be applied:

1- Getting a Job is an activity in which you’ll fail approximately 79% of the time, if you are not a professional.

If you are, expect even less chances and a reduced salary in comparison to what they should be paying you

2- If you become sick with anything that is slightly more complicated than a common cold, and you pay a company for insurance, expect a highly stressing legal battle to get what’s yours.

I may be describing it in quite a dramatized fashion, but these two problems are a reality, they’re getting worse, and are quite enough to make you’re life unlivable.

Now on to Obama

The guy above has currently set the record after doing something no other president has done before. Among more than 20 Legislations signed with the objective of reducing the impact that the recession has caused, he’s reformed Health Care, and he introduced and managed to pass the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act

So what?

Essentially, he’s managed to fix both of these problems, for now.

Now, I am going to be sincere with you dear reader, I am not a professional economist or political analyst, but I can state the following, our country is damaged, it’s corporations are corrupted, it’s government has received injury to it’s core, and still, we must continue on.

Why?

Most analysts say almost as a fact, that one of the reasons we are in this predicament is that our attempts at solving other countries problems have gone too far, without giving any results or benefits to us whatsoever.

I state the following: If the United States of America is not the one to do this job, then who is? Nobody else possesses the amount of military power we have, nor do they possess the will to do it, not even China, who, by staying to itself for the last 5 decades, is now on the verge of becoming the next superpower.

If the current problems that harm us cannot be resolved by 2012 (yes, specifically that year) the damage becomes unrepairable, and no amount of effort will rise America back.

You, dear reader, must not let yourself be swayed by political party-ism or hate. Please, hear this message, and send it along to a family member, a friend, a passersby, whoever it is you think you know can help by understanding this.

Thank You
