Looks like Rahm Emanuel might be leaving his job at the White House in the near future…

Rahm Emanuel is President Obama’s Chief of Staff and he may be quitting his position soon (probably after midterms). It is a rumor right now, but rumors like this are usually true because they leak it on purpose.

So why is Rahm taking off? I have a few ideas, but we will get to that in a minute. The general idea is that Rahm will quit because they want him to. Apparently he does not play well with others. Or he is a sacrifice for a floundering White House full of fools. Either reason is probably bull anyway.

It really makes no difference to me why he is leaving because I don’t like him. He is part of the problem, so good riddance. What worries me is that he will be put in another high up, decision making position, under the radar. In this vein, there is a high probability of Rahm running for Mayor of Chicago. Just what we need. Isn’t that city corrupt enough? I live in Illinois and I and think we’d be better off if Rahm kept his butt in the White House, bickering with the other democrats, getting nothing done.

Speak of the devil…as I’m writing this, literally, I just came across the newest headlines. Rahm has just been outted for trying to trade favors with Blagojevich back when Blago was governor and Rahm was an Illinois congressmen. That’s just fantastic. This is brand new information. I’m so glad the white house hurried up to leak the news about Rahm leaving, less than 24 hours before this damning information came out.
