The 1St Philippine Woman President

    Yesterday, August 1, 2010, the entire Philippines had commemorated the 1st death anniversary of our beloved Corazon C. Aquino, the Philppine’s first woman president. It was such a celebration to remember because Pres. Noynoy Aquino and his siblings initiated the said date. As we remember, former mpresident Cory Aquino died of colon cancer last year after suffering from the said disease for almost nine months. It was such a sad day for the entire nation last year when she died. The country was then again reunited in grief and sorrow for the death of our loving Cory Aquino.

     And yesterday, as we commemorates her contribution to the peace and harmony of the country many groups had prepared their own activites in memory of the late Cory Aquino. A giant picture mosaic of Mrs. Aquino was displayed in Quirino Grandstand and to be enetered to Guiness Book of World’s record as the biggest picture mosaic ever. The display is open for one week for public viewing.
