The things that politicians don’t want to admit to you about the economy in the US today.

So with the debt ceiling needing a raise, the government in over 14 trillion, or if you prefer $14,000,000,000 in debt things are looking grim for our economy indeed. As usual though, politicians are sitting in Washington arguing whose fault it is…whose…FAULT….it….seriously it’s like arguing who owns a house while it burns to ashes around them. Well here let me give those pigs in washington a hand shall I?

First Off Are The Democrats and Obama

Let me say this first, Obama isn’t some sort of spawn of Satan like the world is making him out to be. He’s done some decent…sorta…things as president. His pressure on the agencies helped the capture and death of the inferior creature known as Osama Bin Ladin (I may not be religious at all, but someone who twists their own beliefs to deceive others is not even recognized by me as a lowly bug let alone a human being).

However, Obama is far from a saint…though I’m sure we can all guess that considering it didn’t even take him 2 years to more than quadruple the country’s national debt. His ignorance towards economics and stupidity at bailing out major companies ruined our country. He has no clue on the concept of economics as a cycle, recessions and even depressions happen, and has only managed to extend the pain we’ll be feeling from this recession to another decade or two!

Even moreso, Obama is NOT the beneficial all-compromiser he’s been pretending to be on tv for the past week. He was just as arrogant as the Tea Party, wanting to raise taxes but not cut government spending…and even worse he wants to raise taxes on the rich. Look I know a lot of people dislike the rich out of envy, I’m middle class myself, but come ON! They provide our jobs…ALL OF OUR JOBS. They pay our wages, what are we going to do if all the rich people decide it’s more beneficial for them to just leave? You really think they can’t or won’t do that? Well if Obama gets his way you’ll find out, of course, and you’ll probably feel the desire to follow those rich people to whatever country they decided to bless with their newly created job market.

Second Off Are the Republicans and the Tea Party

What you thought this was where I said how the republicans are somehow saints? Hell no. First off I’d like to point out the complete stupidity of the Republican party though. They had the perfect chance, I mean absolutely perfect chance, to get the seat of the presidency, fill out most of congress, and possibly secure seats in various state governments. They had that shining moment to have the entire country support the republican party, so what did they decide to do? Attack Medicare. So let’s see…if I support the Republican Party…my parents won’t be able to take advantage of medicare? I’ll have to support them if they fall on hard times and can’t afford medical insurance? They won’t even qualify for social security benefits? Oh…here’s where I insert a very offensive curse word and direct it at whoever’s arguing this to be a good idea. So now the Republican party has managed to piss off more than enough people to drop the percent of the country supporting them waaaay below 50. Well goodbye presidency and all other offices, I’m sure republicans will get a bit of common sense…when all politicians with extreme views are shot in the head.

So let’s fast forward, now we’re at the national debt crisis. What do you think republicans are doing? Compromising? Nope they’re taking a leaf right out of Obama’s book here, they want no tax increases but government spending cuts. And here’s where I poke a nice little hole in there logic…just because big business creates jobs doesn’t mean you have to live in their pockets like rats you know? Giving them tax breaks for proper behavior, like not outsourcing 95% of their staff, is one thing…giving them rewards for doing nothing is another. Learn the damn difference. And what are they doing now? Well the tea party has decided to play a game of chicken with all of our savings as collateral and the democrats are actually pushing for a compromise unlike earlier. So what’s the situation? For once it’s clear that our beloved Royal Tea Party is the greater of two evils at the moment, pity. Next week they’ll be opening a waffle house to try and pay off the extra interest they’ll force into our debt.

Here’s The Three Rules Our Government Should Be Following At This Point!

First is the point everyone agrees on, we need to raise the debt ceiling. If that ceiling doesn’t go up soon it means default, if we default our interest rates shoot up through the roof. Think about it, even if it’s a 1% interest hike…what’s 1% of 14 trillion? You really want to pay that off?

Second off, we need to cut government spending, DRAMATICALLY. No more bailouts, no more subsidies, no more stupidity. I can see the need for defense spending (especially considering how many idiots in foreign countries have decided now’s a good time to push our buttons), but I can’t see the need to spend on unnecessary ventures. Leave Libyia, Syria, and whateveria to the people who are actually benefitting from them and keep to our own problems in Afghanistan and Iraq. There’s several billion in our pocket just for minding our own damn business.

Third off, we need tax raises. Frankly I think taxes should be reworked entirely with everyone paying a percentage of what they earn, rich or poor, but nobody listens until it’s too late. And I’m tired of everyone in america saying “we don’t want taxes” and “no new taxes! no new taxes!”…seriously shut the hell up. If you have so little interest in the country that you can’t pay a few extra dollars to help it survive then get the hell out and leave the 10% of the population that has common sense! If I ran this country to any decree I’d have everyone shouting pathetic crap like that exiled within a day…or a minute. Pay your dues that you owe this country for your survival or leave, simple choice.
