Well I have seen from his entrance on the scene that this goon is for sure narcissistic and unqualified. The longer he is in office the more this shows to be true. He is absolutely HANDS DOWN worse than Carter and I fear for what is happening in the Muslim world and their hatred of everything American.

Assuming this is true – Jarret’s proposed tactics and Obama’s nonchalant attitude toward it tell me that there is something to hide. If he were legit then the issue would have been put to bed already – you can\’t tell me that this crowd who can\’t even get the basics of foreign policy right would be able to create such a complicated political ploy that could ultimately burn the birther crowd and allow him to score some cheap political points. I\’m not buying it – if he had nothing to hide, then he would encourage as many states as possible to pass AZ type statutes then at the last minute burn the birthers when he finally submits the docs.

Connecticut, SB291 require “that candidates for president and vice-president provide their original birth certificates in order to be placed on the ballot.” That is needed to make sure the candidate “is a natural born United States citizen, prior to certifying that the candidate is qualified to appear on the ballot.”

Georgia, HB37 not only demands original birth-certificate documentation, it provides a procedure for and declares that citizens have “standing” to challenge the documentation.

Indiana, SB114 to require candidates to provide a certified copy of their birth certificate and include an affirmation they meet the Constitution’s requirements for the president.

Maine, LD34 require for all candidates for public office to provide proof of citizenship. It states, “A candidate for nomination by primary election shall show proof of United States citizenship in the form of a certified copy of the candidate’s birth certificate and the candidate’s driver’s license or other government-issued identification to the Secretary of State.”

The reason they are only worried about 1 or 2 states is that with the language used in these statutes the short-form COLB from Hawaii will probably suffice for most of them. It is after all an “original” document and under Hawaiian law it is what they give out now if someone asks for their birth certificate.

But the states that could require further documentation might present a problem for Obama if he has to show underling documents in the file, such as whatever the “notation” of birth is that Gov Abercrombie was referring to. Maybe his birth certificate was based merely on an affidavit from granny, or maybe the underlying document shows an adoption by Lolo Soetoro raising the complication of Indonesian citizenship which he may have carried through as an adult. Who knows, but whatever it is, it seems to be a serious problem for them.

If, indeed, WH Insider is real, then what he is saying is, that, instead of discussing the very grave situation in Egypt during the closed door meeting, the focus of discussion was on another [trivial] matter; the N/A Birth Certificate. That is quite outrageous on so many levels. First, we all imagine that lots of information and intense discussion re Egypt /Middle East with our president and top-level experts are being closely examined and solutions presented, however, it appears that it is of little importance to O and his close advisors. Obviously Biden is not included in these sessions, because his statement re Mubarak are opposite to the WH position.

Valerie Jarrett (who btw was born in Iran) is Os nanny and puppeteer. This is an invitation for all of our enemies, of whom there are many, to exploit the US. They must be incredulous that we have such an empty suit in the White House.

Wow. I’ve always had low expectations for the man, but it is hard to believe that Obama is this out of it. On the other hand, this report certainly accords with what we are actually seeing as far as Obama’s public actions and statements. It is sad that we have such a man as president.

In reference to the states passing eligibility laws, I would much rather them DEFINE natural born citizen so that the controversy ends. The birth certificate is not really the issue. That all being said, as someone who has actually delivered babies in Hawaii 20 years ago, let me address some of the birth certificate issues.

When we hear long-form hospital generated birth certificate, we all think of those we see and most of us have from the hospital of our birth. But, alas, not all deliveries are at a hospital. Some women deliver before they get to a hospital. I personally delivered a baby in an elevator. These births get an affidavit birth certificate with no hospital name, Dr name, or (sometimes) witnesses. These laws will preclude such individuals from running for POTUS if not done correctly, and will be the argument against them. Thus, the definition of NBC would be better (especially if forced to go to the SCOTUS under equal protection of the law as states differ in their definitions).

Now, Obama advocates state that the birth announcements prove he was born in Hawaii. This simply isn\’t the case. Anyone can have birth announcements published anywhere. The birth announcements do not say where the child was born. Furthermore, if you look at the announcements themselves, you will note that they are exactly the same one from the next in form. They are, essentially, form letters. At the time of their publication, the Health Department in Hawaii simply forwarded to the newspapers a list of the birth registrations. This allowed the papers to publish all births, to include hospital AND affidavit births. If you pull up a screen shot of the full page of one of the announcements, it is even titled \’health bureau statistics\’. Thus, all the birth announcements tell us is that the birth was REGISTERED in Hawaii in 1961, not that he was necessarily born there.

I would challenge anyone to refute the following scenario.

Young Stanley Ann, having married Obama Sr, travels to Kenya to meet her new family during the summer months during college. The flight, or just poor timing, causes her to go into preterm labor and she delivers outside of Hawaii. Upon returning home, she (or her mother) goes to the Health Department and simply says that the child was born at home and signs the affidavit.

Now we have a scenario that fits all the FACTS as we know them.

1) Obama has a COLB that says he was born in Honolulu.
2) The papers get information of the birth because it was registered.
3) No hospital would acknowledge or have records of Obama\’s birth.
4) Tim Adams\’ claim that there is no long-form hospital certificate is true.
5) Hawaiian Governor Abercrombie\’s statement of a \’notation in the birth record\’, but no hospital generated form…would be true.
6) Former Governor Lingle\’s statement \’original birth certificate is on record in accordance with state policies and procedures\’ would be accurate as the certificate is an affidavit.
7) Obama would try to have the original sealed as his story is that he was born in a Hawaiian Hospital.

I could go on, but you all get the idea. Again I challenge anyone to find fault with the scenario. As a doctor that knows how the system works, this is plausible and raises reasonable doubt.

Furthermore, Obama HAS another birth certificate. Look on page 26 of his book Dreams of My Father,
\’I discovered this article, folded away among my birth certificate and old vaccination forms, when I was in high school\’.
Since the book was published in 1995, and the COLB is dated 2007, they are not the same document. Where is the former one?

Obama, Jarret, Pelosi and their bunch have done more against the American people than any other administration in history, including Taft\’s, which led to the depression.
Obama\’s people are singing \”happy days are here again,\” while the unemployment rate is still reported as 9%- I truly believe it\’s higher. The measly, pitifully few \”jobs\” being \”created\” are nothing against the flood of businesses closing and running out of the country for cheap labor.
Obama care flies in the face of the 10th Amendment of the Constitution of the United States providing for the soverignty of the states. That was instituted to prevent a dictatorship. Now, I know the majority of folks who read this board know this, but some seem to have forgotten it. It also flies in the face of the 1st Amendment, granting pursuit of happiness. I\’m happy with my VA healthcare. If I want insurance, I\’ll shop around for myself and buy it myself. Forcing me to buy Obama care or be arrested, tried and convicted of a felony for not buying a government plan is illegal. That\’s why so many states have opposed it in the courts, which so far have pulled their heads out of the sand and are taking a stand on the side of the law and the Constitution.

The late President Regan tried to change that in California- but was blocked by the Dems who were voted into office by \”welfare-gimmies.\” My Mother worked three part-time jobs (all that she could find) because she was told she, a widow with four kids didn\’t qualify.
When I say welfare, people can scream racist at the top of their lungs until they bleed for all I care- I have mentioned no skin color at all- welfare gimmies come in all colors.
The laws on illegal immigration need to be enforced, and I applaud Arizona and Texas, because they\’re actually trying to DO something about it. For those who scream racist again, grow up. If insider is real, then we are truly in for scary times. If not, some of the predictions have indeed come true, and we are in for scary times.
If Obama gets his socialist healthcare atrocity passed, who in the overwhelmed court systems are going to try MILLIONS of Americans who refuse to buy it? Will the Armed Forces Personnel be forced to? Will we see civil disobedience on the scale of social revolution in this country?

Carter at least has the intelligence and dedication to rise through the Navy to become a Captain of a Submarine. Though he is an embarrassment to that service, it isn’t an accomplishment that is handed out. It has to be earned the hard way.

Jimmy Carter was NEVER the captain of a submarine, nuclear or otherwise. He retired from the Navy as a Lieutenant.

Per wikipedia: “Carter served on surface ships and on diesel-electric submarines in the Atlantic and Pacific fleets. As a junior officer, he completed qualification for command of a diesel-electric submarine.” Note that: “completed qualification”, not “was the captain”.

Obama knows he is not eligible. But it has nothing to do with his place of birth.
The simple fact that his father was not a US citizen at the time of his birth makes him ineligible.
Chester A. Arthur knew this and thus he hid the fact that his father did not become a citizen until Chester was 14.
That is a slam dunk. And that is what the eligibility cases need to focus on.

A “scapegoat” is someone who is “blamed” for a wrong action. Scapegoating is the practice of singling out any party for unmerited negative treatment or blame.

However, it does little to further your opinions and in the end renders your statments as simply argumentative (IMO).

Such documents can not be used to obtain other official items, such as a drivers license for instance. You state that Obamas BC is the official BC of HI, however no one has been able to actual SEE his BC as it has never been released. Moreover, the COLB provided for him is a forgery/fake in that it does not match the official COLB for HI.

The primary SSN he is using was aquired between 1977 – 79, however his first job was in 1975 (at a Baskin Robbins if memory serves, which I believe would have required him to provide his SSN), so the dates do not match up. Regarding the location of the application for a SSN, it brings to question if he and his family members never lived in CT why was an application submitted in that state? I do not know the answer and if you do please share because I like to be as informed as I possibly can be. Also of interest is the fact that just recently (within the past couple of months) the SS administration has proposed changing the method for which SSNs are allocated, removing the geographic numbering scheme that has been used. Thanks for the response, and when referring to the “Peace” prize I agree. I meant (and should have been more clear) the other Nobel prizes for things like medicine, physics, etc…

Sheesh. When will people start getting it right? America is NOT a Democracy…it is a Republic, subject to the rules of law. The law is the Constitution.

A Democracy is not necessarily bound to the rules of law….it is bound solely to the whims of the voters.

America’s apparent willingness to disregard the Constitution is rapidly moving it toward the Democracy it is so often mis-labelled as. And from there it has nowhere to go except toward an oligarchy (ruled by a small group of people – congress?) and eventually to revolution and the resultant dictatorship. Fascist or communist, it doesn’t matter. The goals are the same.

Revolution has NEVER in history seen the imposition of a republic, and where democracies have come about from revolution, they have been short lived.

The Founding Fathers knew their history (unlike most people today) and were aware of the problems with democracies…that is why they created a Republic…but even then feared that it could be lost anyway.

Don’t allow our Republic to go the way of the dinosaurs. The alternatives will result eventually in servitude for who were once a free people.

Revolt is not the answer. Using the rule of law on which this Republic is based is the only solution. We must DEMAND that congress and POTUS comply and that the Supreme Court defends the Constitution faithfully. Nothing less is acceptable!
