The Pakistani media has reported that Taliban of Punjab province has taken the credit of Friday’s massacre in two Mosques in Lahore killing almost 100 worshipers and left many wounded. Should we believe?

A big question mark for the Pakistani Punjab administration that how the attackers, a dozen of them, with automatic weapons; LMGs, grenades, suicidal jackets, rucksacks full of ammunition, manage to stay in Lahore and plan attacks. Those theorists who are linking the attacks with Indian RAW, must answer why the ‘Hindus’ were raising ‘Khatm-e-Nabuwat zinda bad‘ slogans? Information Minister is right in his claim that Punjabi Taliban do not even exist because he is very well aware of the attackers.

There had been 109 targeted killings of renowned Ahmadis in past few years. Non were traced back to Taliban. However, surprisingly, the news that Taliban has taken the responsibility was in circulation well before the siege was over.

The attacks carry a signature mark of Taliban, but who hired them, none other than the so called united forum of all religious groups, Majlis Tahafuz Khatme Nabuwat who preach the killing of Ahmadis is a right full thing to do.

The investigation of this case is straight forward. Groups, individuals and even elements in government must be discovered and questioned for their role in the incident. However, it is likely not going to happen.

There is a good news though for the Pakistani government. Ahmadis are not going to take their protest to streets. They have no plan to carry the dead bodies and stage a protest by blocking a highway. So worry not. The news will disappear from headlines very soon.

As Ahmadis usually leave their matters on Allah!
