British Intelligence has launched Skynet Research, which is – Well, ever seen Terminator?
kt Many link Skynet to the movie terminator. A super satellite system that links every robot on earth with highly sophisticated telecommunications and weaponry. Well, fiction has become reality. The British Military has its satellite, Skynet, up and running. Whether the name was inspired by the movie is unknown, but the system works very similarly to the one from terminator. For now, it is used mainly for military uses such as tracking, communication, information, and controlling robots from great distances. Navy ships, tanks, military vehicles, air crafts, and other types of vehicles all now have been networked to Skynet. The whole network has given Skynet Internet like access to all circuitry. Any device that has been linked to Skynet is controlled by Skynet.

The idea behind it is the maximize the flow of information in modern warfare. Data is constantly being processed back and forth so, this Skynet is supposed to create a secure proprietary system. This will create smoother, crisper communications for military use without being affected by other satellite signals. Hectic traffic is constantly present on satellites so, by linking all electronic equipment to one main satellite, performance is enhanced.
The system comes with an emergency override system that can take control over aicrafts, ships, and other military vehicles. For information, you can visit http://www.skynetresearch.com
