Mark Madoff Commits Suicide
Mark Madoff committed suicide at his Manhattan apartment with the dog’s leash, while his two year old son slept nearby. The scandal caused by his father, Bernard Madoff’s Ponzi scheme and the resulting scandal proved too much for the younger Madoff. The investigations and law suits coming up were probably the last straw. Mark’s wife and children had already changed their last names because of threats and publicity. Who knows what goes on in a person’s mind before they decide to leave it all behind?
