Socar President: Azerbaijan Could Supply Gas and Other Pipelines, Not Only Through Nabucco
Transport gas from Azerbaijan could be done on other more profitable routes, not only in "Nabucco," said company president Azerbaijani SOCAR informs apa.az. The route will be chosen depending on conditions and opportunities of each project. "Anything is possible, there are many projects and analyze them all. We’ll pick one," said SOCAR president. According to him, the position of Azerbaijan on analysis and other transportation projects for gas to Europe is normal. "We want this project, because if it is done, our opportunities expand," said Rovnag Abdullayev. This is his position towards the signing of the agreement to support Nabucco Turkey and Hungary will take place on June 6.
