A former general who spied for China Taiwan was sentenced to life imprisonment in one of the worst scandals of espionage on the island in the last half century, according to AFP. Lo Hsien-Major General che was recruited by China while he was stationed in Thailand during 2002-2005.He was arrested in January 2011 and admitted to spying for the government in Beijing.
