You Can’t Have it Both Ways, Uncle Sammy

The Washington Post reported the United States has warned Syria, Hezbollah and Iran not to topple the “U.S. backed democratically elected Lebanese government”. Once again, poor U.S. foreign policy has created inroads for those trying to pull down democracies in yet another country, as Hezbollah seeks to increase its power in the reconstructed “Unity Government” of Lebanon. If the U.S. backs Lebanon now, why did the back Israel during the campaign? No wonder US foreign policy is hated everywhere…except Washington.
