The UK Parliament is currently debating the Voting and Constituencies Bill which will pave the way for a referendum on the Alternative Voting (AV) system, along with an equalisation of the Parliamentary Constituencies.
The Labour Party, although AV was a manifesto promise, will vote against this bill citing the coalition’s apparent “gerrymandering” of the electoral boundaries.
They are, in fact, only protecting their own self serving interests.
Our government seems to no longer be listening to us. Either that or they just don’t care what we have to say. But they’re forgetting something. WE ARE AMERICANS…AND AMERICANS FIGHT BACK!
