Almost everything you need to know about Ghana…
When Africa is mentioned, it is thought of as a poor continent and it really is true. Africa is a poor continent but has got things you can only dream of. You don’t believe me!? Just take a trip to Africa and what I can assure you is that you won’t regret it. Convinced already? Well, if you ever plan of visiting Africa, I suggest you go to Ghana.
Ghana is indeed a place to be. Why do I say this? Ghana is a country that’s got everything a tourist needs to gain satisfaction. Ghana has quite a number of tourist sites that would please anyone. Also, Ghanaian dishes are irresistible. If you ever visit Ghana, just go to any ‘chop bar’, ask for fufu and enjoy. Oops! I forgot of the citizens of Ghana. Well, Ghanaians aren’t hostile. They treat foreigners like gods……….just kidding but Ghanaians show a great deal of hospitality. Actually, you just finished reading the introduction and I can’t believe you are already making plans to visit Ghana.
The Aburi Botanical Gardenis one of the place that most tourist visit. I guess you are wondering what’s so special about this place. It’s so wonderful that I can’t say it all here but I’ve got something for you…..”It’s an epitome of nature”. Its not just a garden with flower and some bunch of trees. There is a restaurant in the garden. At Rose Plot (the restaurant), both continental and local dishes can be bought at low prices. Although local dishes are sold there, it would be best if you bought all your local dishes from a ‘chop bar’(which is also available in the garden). Also there are places in the garden where carvers sell their workpieces. During holidays, people come from other towns just to spend time there. Some even stay till the next day since there are guestrooms. Convinced already? Well, still read on.
Other tourist sites where you can have even more fun are;The Kakum National Park: here you get the chance to walk over nature.;The Gambaga Scarp, The Volta Lake: the world’s largest man-made lake; The Monkey Santuary: here, you see humans living with monkeys.
There is a whole lot more but since I’m only a beginner typist, I think I’ll end here because, my fingers are already aching

Before I leave, this is how to prepare fufu incase you ever want to try
1 Get a pistil, mortar, and some cassava not forgetting plantain
2Boil both cassava and plantain separately.
3 Once ready, pound the cassava with the pistil in the mortar till it becomes rubber-like
4 Do the same to the plantain
5Now pound both the cassava (now rubber-like) and plantain (also now rubber-like) together in the mortar. Pound until they become one.
6 Serve with soup.
