Libyan rebels to follow Libyan Law.

Muammar Gaddafi is on the run from brave Libyans opposed to his brutal regime, and when he is caught will be quickly tried and hanged, according to numerous sources. He will be tried as a traitor to his own people, convicted, and hanged by the neck, just as Saddam Hussein was for his crimes in Iraq.

Gaddafi is reportedly having great difficulty finding a nation to allow him exile, having even ask the US, Russian, and Chinese attaches to Libya to intercede on his behalf with half a dozen Middle Eastern and African counties, with no success.

Libyan law provides for the death penalty for treason, which Gaddafi is certainly guilty of. Various estimates of the Gaddafi regimes brutality claim up to two hundred thousand Libyan citizens have died at his command. Untold thousands are illegally imprisoned, while every village has survivors who tell of mass rapes, forced labor, and kidnappings by Gaddafi’s State Army over many years.

Because of the United Nations and NATO’s intervention, the Libyan rebel fighters are just now taking control of Tripoli, and are close to capturing Col. Muammar Gaddafi, along with his sons and many corrupt government officials who are hiding in and around the capital with nowhere to go. It is likely many will also be executed by hanging, with others receiving lengthy prison sentences. More than one hundred Libyan government officials are on the list of those sought for trial by the rebel fighters leadership.
