What next for Africa after Gaddafi’s fall.
SAIF AL ISLAM FOR “UNITED STATES OF AFRICA” PRESIDENT
We failed Gaddafi, all of us Africans. We failed to stand to our feet and condemn the murderous acts of the imperialists who will always find fault with those that truly care for Africa and have the vision to move the black continent a step forward. With the rise of Japan, China and India, the worst that any western government would love to see is the rise of Africa too. So, they have to do whatever it takes to suffocate any positive change on the continent.
It’s not that I do condone the evil deeds of the Mad Dog; it’s just that in comparison with any western leader, Gaddafi was a saint. Otherwise, how else would one justify the killing of close to 100,000 Libyans by the so called NATO forces in a mission to protect civilians, and why would the coalition’s role in the African nation come to an abrupt end in the wake of the tyrant’s death even when the country is more insecure than when the American led mission in the North African state started? NATO’s mission in Libya was in simple terms to assassinate Kaddafi and his family regardless of who else lost their lives in the process after all none of the civilian’s of the NATO states was at any large risk.
If you closely look at the history of most NATO missions if not all, they always have the billions to waste on the destruction of target nations, but are unable to invest the same amounts in the reconstruction process of such countries. They have spent billions of dollars on the bombs that have destroyed Libya’s infrastructure almost completely in towns like Sirte, but trust me they will do little or nothing to rebuild such cities. That means, Libya will have to dig in her own pocket to bring the country back to life. Why readily fund destruction and hardly do like wise to reconstruct unless the coalition’s true mission statement is to play the devil himself? That is; to kill, steal and destroy. A destroyed Libya will have to go down to her knees so she can be given a few donations here and there all with strings attached, kissing a few asses in the process, a situation that the fallen leader so much avoided.
Probably many of us thought, Gaddafi was as much a hypocrite as the brief Frenchman, Sarkozy and his clique, but he dying on the battlefield actually tells us that he was the exact opposite, a war hero by far. With his power, money and influence, the brother leader would have fought the Libyan war from any other state miles away from his home town where he breathed his last. If there was no good reason for him to fight or if he cared less about the lives of the Libyans, like his ousters suggest, he would have commanded his forces from a place away from the battlefield like the likes of Obama, who knowing that there was no American life at risk, no matter how bloody and deadly, to him and his bitch Ms. Clinton the war was justified after all non Americans are second class world citizens.
Any African still wondering why the west killed Kaddafi please care to note that; it was indeed to teach a few lessons to our patriotic leaders. I mean if they can kill Africa’s best in Kaddafi, what about the others. All those that are big headed and are not as submissive to the western powers as they would want them to be now know what to do; kiss Obama’s ass whenever need be.
For that reason, I think we must do something as a continent, a fast step forward if we are to retain our sovereignty and in the process make the west’s efforts unfruitful in the very near future. We must fulfill Kaddafi’s dream of a united Africa as one country.
Perhaps it was a matter of misinterpretation that we never read notes from the same book when the fallen African hero called for a quickly reinstated United States of Africa. We thought all he wanted was more power but may be he had foreseen what happened to him and is soon happening to another African leader. May be he truly wanted more power but, now that he’s gone, Africa should go back to the drawing board and sanely look at what Kaddafi’s reasons were for a united African country because surely, his death signifies that he cared more about principle than power and wealth and because we failed him, we better do something to quickly cleanse that guilt.
We as Africa have to protect Kaddafi’s family because his killers the imperialists are not done yet, they will only rest if each and every member of Kaddafi’s family is beneath the soils of the earth. That way they will have easy and free access to the billions of dollars in Libya’s and Kaddafi’s names.
Let us repay the Imam of Moslems bestly by establishing a United States of Africa, a country with Saif al Islam Gaddafi as its first president, the green flag as Africa’s flag, and the golden dinar as Africa’s currency and follow the green book’s system of government which was a true success story in the war torn nation prior to the Arab Spring madness since it emphasized economic democracy and not political democracy that the west believe in. Besides pleasing the dead man, it is actually the best move Africa can make at this point in time if we are to eliminate any chances of being over re-colonized by the mafias of the west.
