Wars in Africa

       Lets start with burundi and Rwanda.For 9 months this people killed and sloughtered each other as the world watched. Burundi and Rwanda are said to have large deposits of diamonds and if any of this counties were to be let to mine this diamond freely, then the worldwide price of diamond would go done by half of its current prize.By having a war in this country then the prize of diamond would remain the same or go up.It would be bussines as usaul as war goes on.To make it even harder for this counties to mine their diamond the united nation came up with a law that prohibits sale of diamond from this area calling them confilct diamonds.Who started this war? Multimllion companies that had the intrest in mining the diamond but were in conflict will the government of the day.So if they were not going to be allowed to mine this diamonds then not even the government would mine this diamonds.War requires money and no country in that region sales or manufactures guns or ammuniton but this commodity was in full supply. How come the united nation do not go after countries/companies that sell weapons to this war torn areas.If am wrong please correct me,the only arrest that has taken place is of this russian guy who was know as the marchant of death.Rwanda and Burundi are at peace now but in areas that diamond is mined, big foregin companies have taken over the the mining and citizens there languish in poverty and hunger,as long as the government of the day allows the exsistance of this foregin companies their will be peace.What a pity what people do to get profits.

        Somalians have been fighting each other for about 10 years and no significant attempt has been made to stop this war.Now somalia is becoming a thorn in the neck for the world.Piracy is now striving in this part of africa.Most countries have been forced to pay big amounts in ransome to free their citizens.The question is who is paying for their activities? They need guns and bullets whos selling them these weapons?Where is the united nations to prosecute all those selling weapons in this war torn country?The marchants of death are doing bussines as usual.The united states are quiet on this but guess what! The US dollar is the currency being used to pay ransom.So lets do the math of who are the benficiaries of this wars.Take it like in the Niger delta where it is rich with oil but their is a war that is making it very difficult to mine the oil.Now how do you interprate it if most of the weapons/equipment used by the rebels are US made.If one of your family members is using the family name badly would you not want to stop him/her?Alot of countries/Presidents know what is happening but remain murm on the issue so that they can remain politicaly correct.Their is very little me and you can do about the whole situation but hope and pray things will change some day.
