What will happen on the death of Mugabe?
When investigators got too close to one of the many ‘pies’ in which Mugabe had his thumb, he’d unleash ‘War Veterans’ as a dope dealer releases his pit bulls.
The difference between Mugabe’s ‘War Veterans’ and the Dope dealer’s pit bulls, is that pit bulls can be controlled.
After the first ‘unleashing’ of War Vets, they began to operate on their own initiative.
The Police and Army, deployed in obvious illegal and oppressive manners at Mugabe’s behest, now deploy themselves, Mugabe is a figurehead.
The old man can’t resign. Can’t dare to lose power. No opposition would turn a blind eye to what has been going on over the past fifteen years.
Once the ‘Bread basket’ of Africa, not merely able to feed itself, but other nations, once with an enviable educational system, and a strong economy, Zimbabwe has experienced the kind of devastation usually linked to natural disasters.
If Zimbabwe had suffered an Earthquake as did China, a Tsunami as did Thailand, and hurricane like Katrina, all within a one month period, it would not be as devastating as Mugabe.
About fifteen years ago, Robert Mugabe ceased being the great ‘liberator’ and became just another power hungry kleptocrat.
His followers joined him in pocket filling and used murder to silence anyone who dared speak. As time passed, those who fill their pockets no longer need Mugabe, for corruption needs no leader.
Zimbabwe will, unless immediate action is taken, descend into chaos at Mugabe’s death.
Simply put, as a figurehead he can still control ideas. As a corpse, the Kakistocracy will fight for survival.
The descent of Zimbabwe is attributed to Mugabe’s need to cling to power to hide his corruption.
Now, he will learn the danger of ‘riding the tiger’ for one is very liable to end up inside her.

I agree, Mugabe is the blight of the country and each day he’s in power it gets worse. I think however that war in Zimbabwe is 99% unavoidable, the country has too many rifts for at least some of them not to split when Mugabe dies… who could possibly control the police and his war vets then?
Zimbabwe appears ready to become another Somalia
That’s a joy everyone could do without right now.
it is inevitable.
International intervention – led by South Africa – should have happened years ago.
South Africa is the next venue for Mugabe-itis. Jacob Zuma is going
to implement the kind of policies that will have non-blacks racing out
of the country…the smart money has been invested abroad, and
many businesses are being turned into public companies so that
losses will be minimal.
If Zuma wins, expect by January 2011 (after the World Cup euphoria
has disappated) some kind of ‘land reform’ or ‘nationalisation’ or
‘redistribution of wealth’.
By January 2012 you won’t be able to tell the diff. between Zimbabwe
and South Africa
Well written, if this has happened in any other country we would had the UN and the developed countries in there in no time. Why the world treat Mugabe with kid gloves is beyond me. the world has watched for many years while this man has turn a flourishing country into one of the poorest states.
The sooner Mugabe goes the better for th Zimbawean people. He is hanging onto power only to hide his crimes, sooner or later he is going to have to deal with it.
What is interesting is that in the West they talk about ‘reparations’ for slavery, while in Africa, slavery was just abolished in Mauratania, and the slaves, (some of them) thrown on the street to die.
No one says a word due to the great ‘guilt’ due to the different standards one holds for blacks contra whites. Mugabe is one of the worst dicators of the past 100 years; he is up there with Stalin and is moving towards Hitler.
But hey; he’s B L A C K so he’s ‘allowed’.
