An article on the Missing Air France flight 447.

Air France Flight 447, an Airbus A330 carrying 228 people, took off from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil headed to Paris, France disappeared in an area of thunderstorms. People who had relations to one of the 216 passengers and 12 crewmembers heard, “prospects of finding survivors are very small.” from Nicolas Sarkozy, the president of France.

The last known location of the plane was near the Mid-Atlantic Ocean between South America and Africa. The Brazilian military went searching for the aircraft in the deep Atlantic ocean off of South America. Also, France sent a crew to search the ocean near Cape Verde and West Africa. France asked the United States to search for the plane with a satellite.

Some people are scared that the incident was planned by terrorist. Most people think that it is a lightning strike that hit the plane. If all 228 people died, this plane incident could be the worst since September 11, 2001.
