Mankind is descended from tribes of hunter gatherer’s. We can fight these urges but we are what we are!. Choice is the key word now?
Mankind can be evil and lack compassion to strangers.
Mankind is inherently evil and makes war on his brother and coverts his neighbours wife and his Ox if he has one. No doubt about it, I dare you and challenge you to prove me wrong! Am I bitter and twisted about the world absolutely not why should I be?
Mankind descended from a war-like species who in turn descended from hunter gatherer tribes. Mankind or if you want to break it down into Men and Woman can show incredible tear inspiring kindness of extraordinary proportions. The key to the ancient and ongoing parody is personal choice! Nothing more nothing grander just pure and simple choices.

Please let me explain before you dismiss this article as a rambling collection of well known phrases. A few years back now in another part of the UK there was a young girl who’s father and mother frequented a pub in fact our local pub. We knew this couple to nod to, to smile to and say perhaps “How you doing today?” as we passed in the pub.
A rumour went around the pub that their seven year old daughter was terminally ill with an inoperable type of Cancer. I had not met his daughter and nor had my friends and colleagues that used the local pub. One day the landlord of the pub put a huge out-sized Whiskey bottle on the bar and chained it to a post. Above the bottle was a poster announcing a campaign to send the little girl to Disneyland in America before she was taken to a hospice.
I can promise you that huge Whiskey bottle was filled and emptied several times a week. Everyone who frequented that pub put their change in the bottle and some customers brought their change that they had saved up from home and emptied the contents into the bottle.

The money to send this poor little girl to Disneyland was raised within one calendar month! My friend gave up a night shift at his job to run the girl and their parents to the airport and he picked them up after the trip. Now to me this is charity at its best it is people at their best. In all honesty we didn’t really know these people except they were customers in a pub we liked and they looked like us and dressed like us.
There in lies the problem we as a race are very choosy who is deserved of our time and charity. In Pakistan right this very minutes millions of people are dying from hunger and thirst and water born diseases. Millions have had their homes and farms swept away never to return. Have you given any money to the charity for essential supplies?
If you have not given to help these people do not be ashamed. Why should you feel guilty? Last night my partner and me were having our evening meal and the TV was playing in another room but we could hear the commentary on the news channel, begging for international aid for these beleaguered people. I am not in a position to give to anyone right now because of my own problems. However would I have given to the people of Pakistan under different circumstances?
I am skirting around the fact that I do not want to say that some people in the world do not care about Pakistan. Britain has been one of the major contributors to the aid Pakistan has received so far, this is because of the extraordinary amount of Pakistan residents living in Britain pure and simple. These British/Pakistan residents are holding charity events, people are on the streets going from door to door collecting for Pakistan.

As admirable as this is, it is those people’s choice. I am back to my point of my article. Mankind decides who he likes or dislikes it really is that simple. If you disagree with me as many of you are sure to please politely tell me why the world seems slow to react to the plight of Pakistan?
A few years ago I travelled to the Dominican Republic for a vacation. I had a wonderful time and I did meet some lovely people. Now if the Dominican Republic was in a disaster situation and if I had spare cash yes I would contribute to their plight. I would contribute because I have been to their country and found it beautiful and I had a great vacation, it really is that simple.
The question will be for religious believers is do we as a race have a right to differentiate between people in threat for their lives? Can we play God with our charity money.

I seldom leave a store with change. It goes into some bottle or can onthe counter.
God bless you for your concern.
Oh & what are you doing in Asia?
Very good article. Some here it goes into my wallet then from there to my children.
Thanks lee ness
Britain has been one of the major contributors to the aid Pakistan has received so far, and rightly so.
But what about the rich Arab Emirates states in the gulf , how much have they contributed?
You definitely raise some important and complex questions and issues. We are capable of both good and evil, compassion and callousness. To deal with the growing challenges and injustices and prejudices, we need a superhuman world government with leaders that are just, fair and caring.
You have raised some good questions here and for all the good in the world it seems evil is always right in the mix. I am not sure what more I can say on this subject.
