Mine Flooding in China. Many Still Tapped

Over 115 people have been pulled out to safety so far, but still over 35 are stuck inside the flooded mine, waiting to be rescued. The flooding of this mine was caused by Global Warming. The polar ice caps have been melting and they went all the way down into china. This is a very devestating time for the people there. Over two and a half thousand people have died in these sort of accidents, in 2009 ALONE. In 2002, over 6 thousand people died. Chinas goverment is working towards a safer work area for these miners, so there are no more accidents, and no more lifes are put in danger.
